From that article:

"Head coach Andy Reid would want him to be less of a centerpiece and more of a supportive role player."

Hmmm...

Well, he’s certainly not going to put him in in run blocking situations. Or any blocking situation for that matter. Kelce wants no part of blocking anybody.

Here’s an interesting but weird graphic
I’m assuming this is a relatively new measurement since Favre used to break peoples fingers

Ya, that list is missing a few rocket armed QBs
When Elway wanted to gun it the camera could never keep up with the velocity, I think he threw harder than Farve
Jeff George had some rockets as well
timestamped a couple of Elway Rockets

Hmmm...

If they lost that game he would have been punished for that bullshit.
It got swept under the rug as just being competitive.

In reality it was one of the most childish chickenshit moves in recent NFL memory.

On the right team he will rip it up still, assuming no injuries. Those injuries usually take 20 months to come back from. He was ripping great passes at times last year from what I saw.

Would take a team that he wasn't needed to lead, a team that is already solid and confident. Basically he would just need to be the hired gun and not the face of franchise, those days are done and not needed.

I don’t think his ego would accept that though

It would hurt for sure

Some of these teams are so ass at QB that he might be able to put together a playoff run, maybe after a QB gets injured. Not sure the contract implications of signing him, that will make a big difference? What is his price tag?

his contract was a three-year $115 million deal. Last season his base salary was only 3 million but it included a $35 million salary bonus.
It’s interesting. The Jets take a 23.5 million dollar cap hit if he plays for them this year. The Jets take a $49 million cap hit if they release him. But apparently they would rather do that than have him on their team. That says a lot to me about what kind of dude he is to be around

The Jets can split that hit out over two years though. Sounds like they also plan to release Davante Adams to free up cap space, which we all know is an Aaron Rodgers/Lebron style influenced deal anyway.

It's also funny how in the comments they are shredding the Ted Wells report on the situation as being a bunch of lawyered up lies. Icognito even mentions it. :

"It was wild to read the Ted Wells report. A bunch of lawyers came in and tried to understand the culture of an NFL locker room. They made a mountain out of a mole hill while being directed by Martin’s parents. The report crushed us both! The lawyers wanted to protect the NFL and the Dolphins. They didn’t give two shits to fact check any of the wild claims made by Martin and his camp. They took everything I said and used it against me. I was trying to tell the truth! “Independent Investigation” my ass!"

That's ironic, since we saw another Wells report a few years later that was equally full of shit, and proven in court to be lie.

There's a pattern here.

Incognito has always been kind of a prick, but he's spot on here.

Ted Wells and his gaggle of bought off "lawyers" don't independently investigate anything. they already have thsi conclusion, and lie and ignore the actual facts (Ideal Gas Law anyone?). It's a kangaroo court whenever that guy and his snake oil lawyers are involved.

Interesting, the "findings" of the deflategate case were so flawed it prompted looking into the details of the Incognito case for more flawed "findings"
Imagine that!

I read the entire Wells report on Deflategate, and it was a pile of bullshit.

They admitted in court they had zero evidence Brady did anything wrong. Brady was the only person in the entire debacle that was actually under oath in court. Jeff Pash is a bald faced liar.

Years later, we find out psoitively the NFl lied through their teeth the entire time and also had no idea about the Ideal gas law.
They supposedly recorded air pressure aroudn the league the following year but sealed the records......because they found that footballs lose PSI on their own in cold weather, just like your fucking tires. Imagine that. The initial report of how low the footballs were was a lie as well, it was not 12 footballs that were 2 psi under. Another lie that got initially released to the public, so that's all they believe now unless the followed the case. The truth came out later, but by then, no one cared.

They also suspended Ezekiel Eliiot for something their own invesigators said they could find no evidence of. Kangaroo court

Might be a Russ Wilson situation where you guarantee the third year if you keep him rostered for the second year

Will be interesting to see where he ends up, I wanted him in Denver instead of Russ but now the Broncos will obviously be happy with Bo Nix.

I think if he ends up anywhere it'll be on a one year deal. As a fan, I wouldn't want him anywhere enear my fucking team.
Talented arm, horrible personality. He's not a team player, and never has been.
That's why i find it hard to believe he'll sign anywhere where everything isn't all about him.
