He's good.Lagow has made a few throws that makes me think he could play on Sundays
I know. I was hoping for a different offense than what they had last year. Looks identical.Still alot of game.
A tale of 2 halves. Offense looked pretty lethargic in the 1st half. Barrett going through his progressions but receivers weren't getting open, and when they did get open they weren't catching the ball. Turned it around in the 2nd half and had a couple long distance TDs that showed off the speed of WRs Campbell (74 yard TD) and Dixon (59 yard TD). Barrett finished 20/35 for 304 yards and 3 TDs.Cliffs of Ohio state game?
Something about stoops not being at Oklahoma makes me feel like they are not going to be as tough......even though they may have the same players.....A tale of 2 halves. True Freshman RB Dobbins is the real deal. Weber - the other stud RB for the Buckeyes - had a hamstring injury and didn't play, but I'd expect plenty of carries for Dobbins the rest of the season even when Weber is ready to go. Dobbins is very fast. Great moves. Hard to tackle. He ended up with 29 carries for 181 yards.
Ohio State's D-Line is straight up nasty. NASTY. They held Indiana to 17 yards rushing on 27 carries. Indiana's plan was to throw it often, and to get rid of the ball before the pass rush could get to the QB. It worked pretty well in the 1st half as Ohio State's young DBs were struggling early.
Bucks trailed at half 14-13, but ended up winning 49-21 after outscoring Indiana in the 2nd half 36-7.
Indiana has some studs on this team. Their QB Lagow (40/65 for 410 yards and 3 TDs) looks like he could play on Sundays. Their WRs Cobbs and Timian were impressive, along with TE Ian Thomas. Indiana is going to win plenty of games this season.
Next up for OSU - #7 Oklahoma.
I really want to see OSU's D-Line get after Baker Mayfield.Something about stoops not being at Oklahoma makes me feel like they are not going to be as tough......even though they may have the same players.....
Hurricane Fans: "So you're saying there's a chance..."Current odds for National Championship...
the first thing I look at when gambling on football is the quality of the offensive lines & defensive lines, OSU will be in every game thanks to their Dline, they're as good as advertisedI really want to see OSU's D-Line get after Baker Mayfield.
I think Meyer is one of the greatest college coaches of all time.@Hauler your thoughts on Urban Meyer as a coach?
Is he Jim Tressel status yet or no?
He kinda dicked over UF but I thought it waa kinda understandable.
Tressel was conservative in an overall sense but no "way too" conservative coach throws a 4th and 1 deep ball with the undefeated season on the line at Purdue with 1:30 to go when you have an average (being very generous saying that) quarterback........I think Meyer is one of the greatest college coaches of all time.
Tressel was way too conservative for my liking. I prefer Meyer by a landslide.
27.5 point underdog.Rutgers shocks the world tonight.
It's going to be a party.27.5 point underdog.
Rutgers shocks the world when the rest of you tri-state savages learn what an inside voice is.
Balls of steel, as well as confidence that the AD isn't gonna shitcan you if that play fails.@Readily Formed Voltron
Game was very hard fought and this was their last chance, realistically speaking.......
Btw, one of the greatest freshman running backs of all time.....shame really and was severely banged up in this game
