Man I need to get back out there. I find myself getting more interested every year around Masters build up lol. Funny how that works.

I think I'm going to hit some balls today.

Fucked my back up last month. Played a couple of weeks ago and came back too early. Went 36-43. By the 13th hole I was doing the old man step through when I hit the ball. Now I understand why they do that
I havent played since our golf trip in September, and I'm starting to get the itch. Shot in the 80's during the trip but have a feeling there could be some high scores ahead this spring.

Me too. The Masters is usually what really gets me back in the swing. I'm already looking forward to this years golf trip with my buddies as well. Same group of us have been going every September for approaching 20 years now & it's always a blast.

Where was the trip?
Myrtle Beach every year. We leave Louisville on a Friday, drive down and play an afternoon round in Spartanburg. Stay the night there. Drive into Myrtle Beach on Saturday, hit a sports bar and watch college football all day. Check in to a house that we rent on the beach and play Sunday thru Friday mornings. Done by 1pm, grab lunch, and drink beer on the beach the rest of the day. Drive home on Saturday.

This years lineup is:

Sandpiper Bay
Crow Creek
Arrowhead
Rivers Edge
The Witch
Glen Dornoch

Sounds awesome
It's a blast. We all pitch in $10 before each round ($80 total) and play skins. Then each foursome will have their own side games going (wolf, closest to the pins on par 3's, low ball/low total, etc). Then our beach house has a pool table, dart board, and Golden Tee video game so there's all sorts of gambling and shit talking going on all week long.

Thx man. Surprised more guys don’t do them.
I have some buddies that I go a couple of places with, but not like that. We all work together so a bunch of us taking a week off would be a problem. We close for 3 months but it's in the winter. Everyone kinda scatters so that makes it tough.

We do have a friend that built a course on his ranch and we go down there for a few days but it would be really cool to go somewhere like that and play a few courses together
