This movie was a surprise treat. Good story, good acting, and beautifully shot. Shia LaBeouf is really an underrated actor.
Absolutely loved this film.

I hate to be one of those people but I thought the movie failed the book.

In the movies defense I don't like John C. Reilly so I was a bit soured off the bat.

I couldn't feel more different.
Didn't feel enough like a comic book movie until the very end. For most of the movie you could be watching any character that has nothing to do with joker or batman. And I agree it was appropriately dark. And the high energy scenes
scissor kill, live shooting etc
were just right but there weren't enough to keep me loving it. It was too much dreary without a punch line.

7/10. Excellent acting. Not excellent movie.

Phoenix acted so well we forgot Jared Leto ever did the role.
It was an origin story of a bad guy without superpowers. And his eventual nemesis is a good guy without superpowers. It wasn't supposed to feel like a comic book movie.

It was fantastic.

This one is weird but entertaining. Adam Driver is fantastic.
Took Terry Gilliam 29 years to make this.

Killer: Inside the Mind of Aaron Hernandez

a 3-part mini-series detailing the life and legal troubles of the talented American football tight-end.

8/10 Bill Bellicheats

very insightful, not preachy, not tabloid...whether you hate the Patriots or are a closeted homosexual, it's a good mini-series

I'm somewhat skeptical on most war movies based around Murica. Too many pump up the "USA! USA! USA!".
His wife, from what she knew/was told said it was pretty accurate but I definitely get your point. Overt patriotism detracts from the subject.

As much as I watch war/military I'm a moron for doing so because it generally upsets me but I really liked that film.
