I don't want to give it a perfect 10 because I wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but as someone that grew up surrounded by absolute, filthy, degenerate gamblers that movie was really, really good.

It was a mess from start to finish.
A neon nightmare where no character was fully formed.

It was hateful. The scene where they shoe horned the rapper in was comedy genius. If it was meant to be funny.
If it was a comedy. And I think that's how it must have started then I would just meh.
But to try and elevate into some bastardised version of casino crossed with John wick, which I also hated btw. A fucking dog? And try and think it's some cerebral piece of work?

Epically bad, cheese ball dialog (the classic trope of the old cop yelling at the less old cop "you're a goddam cowboy!"), Shit continuity, if they had LE or EMS advisors on set you'd never know it.
Beautifully shot, but that's it. Clearly the asthetic was paramount, story/dialog a distant second. The story could have been pretty good but it came off like either a first draft or a cut for time SNL sketch.
Two good actors drowning in a tragically bad movie. The whole time I was thinking "do they know it's this bad?"
MrsMedic fell asleep with about 30 minutes left and I immediately turned that garbage off.

Now I barely care, much better this way.
I stopped having a high balance with bookie/online sports books a few years back.
Can see how it could get out of hand, I had way too much on certain outcomes at times...some went good and some went baaad.
