Same writer as Mystic River. Bloody brilliant, both of them. I'm a bit of a Ben Affleck nut so Casey doesn't get a massive look in with me but he was great in Gone Baby Gone and Manchester.

I saw it described as Shaun of the Dead meets La La Land. I haven't seen La La Land and I wouldn't say this is as funny or rewatchable as Shaun of the Dead but it was surprisingly entertaining.
It's a pretty typical comedy/zombie movie, nothing new plot wise but where this one stands out is that it's a musical.

Same with anyone that likes John wick. Once you say you like this film. And are being serious you exempt yourself from being taken seriously as a critic ever again.
