I also never said Zelensky is 'powerless', this is a straw man. I have said that he only has the power to act within the confines of the nationalist mandate he has. He doesn't have the power to crush Azov. He does have the power to crush other opposition with the backing of Azov and other far-right groups.
You will notice I actually used the word 'authoritarians' plural in reference to the ban. Someone with better reading comprehension would have picked up on this.
If somehow Zelensky (and Ukraine) comes out of this war intact, he may actually have the power to do many things he couldn't before.
