I’m good with an iron sight up to 100-150 or so yards but I can’t imagine using one to actually snipe long range. Skills
Yeah, there are a LOT of air assets over Poland and Romania. 2 US Global Hawk drones are over eastern Ukraine now.

Poland has few next-gen Reaper Drones by General Atomics- they've been testing them. I wonder if we'll see deployment in the next few days.

I wonder how fast Sweden and Finland are going to join NATO now that Putin has essentially told them they're next. Although article 42 of the Treaty of Lisbon has a mutual defense clause. If Russia invades Finland then that article is triggered and the EU member nations are obligated to go to war in their defense.

They have an airforce, it’s not large. The MiG-29 and Su-27’s have upgraded western weapons systems. They are using it sparingly but effectively. They have uses the SU-24 and 25s to bomb russian positions and the fighters are doing air patrols. Russia doesn’t want to destroy the airfields, they need them. They have been fighting over the airfield outside of Kyiv with control changing hands several times. If anyone destroys them, it will be Ukrainians so Russia can’t use them to stage landings and logistics.
Reports that over 1,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in the last 24 hours. That's what the mobile crematoriums are for; obscuring official casualty numbers.

Putin has sent a delegation to Minsk, I believe primarily for domestic consumption. Ukrainians are saying they would meet with them in Poland or Romania but not Belarus.
Reports that they're likely to kick Russia out of SWIFT in the next 48 hours. Germany and Italy have agreed. They were the holdouts.

I think Cyprus and Hungary are still dragging their feet
I posted an update on this a few pages back, showing Ukranian civilians helping to free the driver from the wreck. She was conscious and moving, but still trapped. Hopefully she is OK.
