Prove it.
Prove what was in his brain.

His actions before the riot were in bad form.
His actions during the riot were in bad form.
His actions immediately after the riot were in bad form.

Presidential? No.
Criminal? Nah.
What about his plot to undermine democracy?

The second hearing this week could be very interesting since the next one focuses on the stuff he did that allegedly falls under the umbrella of seditious conspiracy

I don't think any of our last 6 presidents should have been in office
Why not?

Could you please describe why Obama was not an acceptable leader of the nation? Other than generic nonsense like "he's ambitious and corrupt, he pretends to care about people more than he does and he clearly enjoys being famous and powerful, oh and when he left office he immediately cashed out and leveraged his profile into making a shitload of money for fuck all work"?

You realise that criticisms like that are basically completely meaningless, because they're so vague and all-encompassing that they apply to every single person who ever held high office in the real world or who would even seek to, right?

Every time a politician moves his mouth he's lying through his teeth.

I honestly believe Trump thinks the election was rigged. And according to Seinfeld, it's not a lie if you believe it.
See, more nonsense and bullshit deflecting because you can't actually defend your bullshit.

I asked you a very simple question. You can't answer it or even attempt to, because you know damned well that what is going on now is completely unprecedented in modern American history.

Talking about the electors?
Depends on whether he can tie that back to him honestly believing it would be overturned and he wanted to be prepared.

You ask a question.
They you answer the question for me before I have a chance to respond.

This isn't a conversation John....Your sitting on your virtual couch and having an argument with a stereotype you created in your head.

If you really want my response then at least let me...you know...respond.

I don't think it is.
I'm not deflecting. I'm answering your question. You are wrong.

Yup. Will come down to who said what on regards to the seditious activity that happened

Supposedly there are texts between people to keep their meetings secret. I'm no lawyer. But I think that's the icing that turns bad conversation into something illegal

Explain to me why the last year and a half of the former President screaming nonstop lies about the election being stolen from him, is the same as what both sides have been doing for the last 25 years?

Seriously?

We can agree that it is lies, what he has been spouting for the last year and a half, right? You understand that Biden won legitimately and it was not stolen from Trump, yes?

This seems to be the starting point. Many of his staff had told him repeatedly that there’s no proof the election was stolen and he didn’t listen. When he wanted to keep pushing “stop the steal” they told him he’s way off and he kept pushing. The courts rules no stolen election like 60+ times and he kept pushing the lie as a way to disregard he lost and convince his base he’s still winning. He continually told his supporters that the only way he loses the election is through fraud which again was a lie and extremely childish IMO. This Keeps going and going up until the riots break out. Then for three hours of rioting where I think five people ended up dead those close to him kept telling him to call his mob off and get help to de-escalate and he refused.

Some want to post the most harmless photos of old ladies inside the capital and claim it was nothing more than a tourist attraction while completely ignoring the violence and deaths. I don’t think any high level politician will ever serve jail time but if this investigations removes his chances of running and shine some light on how he’s nothing more than a powerful conman then that’s a win. If you want to know what’s going on it’s a google search away in “Jan 6 committee hearings case”. At the very least it’s a great scandal that’s just getting going here. Be a good American and keep I’m up with what will be a good history lesson in the future.

It's definitely shady.

I'm sure he'll spin the necessity to keep things hush-hush back to him believing dishonest shit was going down, so the secrecy was necessary to try and preserve the union.

I think there was certainly fuckery with the election, as with most elections...That is the nature of politics and elections.

As to who would have won without fuckery? I can't say.

I'm not sure anything was stolen from anybody, and I am not blaming one person for the actions of others.

So what specifically made Obama an unfit person for office? Lay it out for me, I'm all ears.

Yeh what's wild about trump is that he is very dumb. And im not just saying that because I don't like his person or policies. He's just dumb

But when it comes to criminal activity, he seems to be very smart. Alot of people around him spend time behind bars (at least, until he pardoned them lol), but the facts never actually indicted him since he allegedly gave orders face-to-face without being recorded

Also the money. Today they’re claiming Trump opened up some way for his supporters to send money to fight the incoming legal battle and they raised over $100m the first week and it totalled up to 250m. Lots of this money worked it’s way into Donnys pockets and not the legal battle. Lol.

I believed him to be fit for office.
I voted for him the first time.

He immediately went back on all the promises he made about whistleblowers and overseas wars and supporting the military industrial complex. So I don't think he should have gotten a second term and viewed him as complicit in criminal activity at that point. He is corrupt obviously, and in hindsight was just an extension of the Bush jr/Bush sr/Cheney/Clinton charade of politics and political theatre.

So that is the state of your Democracy

Seriously just hit up Google or YouTube and watch the hearings day one synopsis if not for entertain only. I was surprised at lots on info I had no idea about. The body can footage from cops is brutal man. I just finished a podcast where they interview some of the rioters. This idiot razored a cop after he was all but dead on his neck. His reasoning was “I thought if he was unconscious they’d leave him alone”. He says this while crying. I can’t understand how some people can see and hear these things and shrug it off and be all “what’s the point, gas is expensive”.

Yeh. A guy on the weekly show I watch always laughs how Trump, Alex Jones, etc rip off their supporters more than anyone else

Cults

So, this is not a response that warrants respectful dialogue. You don't know anything about what is happening now, you don't know anything about what has ever happened before, and you're not interested in trying to learn or even to look at what is right in front of you.

There is no "fuckery", there is no serious argument that Biden didn't win legitimately with room to spare. By pretending that there could be something to this "stop the steal!" bullshit, all you are doing is shilling for total cunts and parroting their destructive lies.

So he shouldn't have been elected because it turns out that he was a politician, and the rhetoric he had on the campaign trail didn't line up with the dirty shit that he did and got involved in once he was confronted with the reality of actually being in office.

Soooooooooo........ exactly the same generic criticisms that can be levelled at literally every single President or person who would ever realistically be in a position to become the President, then.
