I like you man, but what I find fascinating is people who don't realize half the country disagrees with them. The country is clearly split and just saying opinions does not make them true. So why not just post some facts if they are so obvious? That's how political conversations used to go in this country.

The Republicans and Democrats.
It is amazing that regular people continue to argue about which currupt millionaire (that would not piss on you if you were on fire) is telling the truth. The politicians on both sides have continued to run the country into the ground all while profiting hugely, while the population they are supposed to represent fight to give them more, more, more.

But yeah, you are right. His height was comparable - if not actually a little taller - than the average man back then. He got the "short" designation because he was always surrounded by bodyguards - who were all very tall. I find it quite amusing that history has created a false image for him, and most people believe he was practically a dwarf on a horse.
