General TMMAC Fasting Thread !

How are you going about it? Any supps? Just water? I fast everyday but usually 16-18 hours. Been doing it for years now and enjoy it...

Is anyone interested in doing a 72 hour fast with me starting Monday? We can hold one another accountable & offer support.
 
Shit I didn’t even think about losing that thread. There was a treasure trove of info on there. I’ve done a ton of long term fasts over the last couple years as a result.

I am going to attempt a rolling 48 hour fast I think. 48 on, maybe 24 off? I think @kvr28 did an extended period of rolling 72s. I'd love any tips you have

The goal is 30lbs. Realistically how long do you think that would take rolling like that? Do you still have your records how it went for you?

Not sure if @DoWorkSon has it copied somewhere from when he was doing all the updates.

I was doing 5 day fasts and 2 days of eating, thinking about starting that again for awhile, felt great while doing it.

I'm going to kick off Nov with a fast. Also going to do a dry month and really get diet dialed. Shakes after gym, protein and rice every dinners, etc.
 
I’ll fast with you. How many days we doing?

Fuck it I'm in, I think I had the record on the OG with 19 days, I like a challenge.

I'm thinking fast Sunday night until Wednesday afternoon, start again Wednesday night and fast until Saturday afternoon

Roughly two 60 hour fasts during the week

Nice! Lets do it b brother.Was thinking 72hrs. Did that earlier this year. Will be a good start and shock to the month. I have great gym momentum going that I'll carry right in, but beers need to be dialed back for sure

Good deal. I'll definitely do the 72 hrs. @kvr28 - if I'm feeling frisky after 72 hrs, I'll pull for 120 (or 5 days) and then see how I'm feeling there.
 
I’ve fasted before, it makes me weak now.
It goes back to cutting weight for wrestling back many years ago.

I can go for days and days without eating, basically anytime I’m stressed out and I have never felt good about it, though it makes me look like I’m in shape without lifting a weight

Not sure of my point other than if people irritate me, I’m fasting
 
@Wild I never ended up kicking the month of with the fast. Was focused on the no drinking and diet. Lifting has been great and working back in lots of mobility type stuff I've gotten away from, gonna be on the mountain a lot this year snowboarding and have winter hikes planned.

Anyways, still open to fasting this month
