Yeah, rough weight cut, staph, and first five round fight all worked against his cardio. You can tell he was burning nervous energy too, the way he got too excited when he hurt Tony in the first and charged him and then when he lost his temper and threw the late shot at the end of the round when Tony was talking shit off his back. I feel like we are getting Conor vs Nate 3 next. If Lee won he may have fought Conor because you had the built in Mayweather story line, but I feel like Tony is not a big enough name and Diaz will be what the UFC goes with. Also, Tony does not connect with the people in any way shape or form.. Lee had the chance to appeal to people if he won this fight.
Not saying that's the right thing to do, but we all know this is all about money.
