if they want to keep joe, they need to pair him with hardy. he will keep rogan on track, and honest. they can send goldie to invictaI Wild Each It;n6412 said:I chuckled when he said that. He's such a fucking nerd.
Jim Ross?ChaosOverkill;n6414 said:YOu still need a lead in there, Mauro was fantastic doing the Deontay Wilder fight, I like Mauro what he may have lacked in knowledge he more than makes up for in Smooth network Boxing quality delivery
Galanis;n6418 said:Personally I prefer Rogan over all the other commentators. I can't stand Anik, Goldie, etc. Rogan has real knowledge of this sport. But it's weird as fuck when he does that kind of thing.
I also feel like Hendo/Gegard will be a decision and pretty close. But it's weird because both guys were known for never getting finished for YEARS, and now both of them are coming off sub losses, and Hendo's chin was finally cracked by Belfort
So I feel like this fght happening in 2015 is a lot harder to call than say, 2010, when both were really doing great. Back then I'd almost guarantee a close decision fight.. But I could see something crazy like Hendo KOing Gegard, or Gegard KOing Hendo (imagine if that happened), or one winning by sub. In the last few years we've seen Hunt, Fedor, Anderson, Hendo, Nelson etc... all knocked out. Which is crazy to me. So at this point I'm like.. yeah, anyone can be out cold, it makes no difference
what about that old license state system? i thought the UFC would change that instead of paying laywers millions to get an UFC even in NYI Wild Each It;n6416 said:The irony is that nothing at Zuffa has evolved over the last 5 years. Think about that. Yes, they've rolled out World Fucking Domination, signed the FOX and Reebok deals...but from a production standpoint, what improvements have they made? It's become beyond stale.
That would work, Ross at least knows how to evolve and adapt. Goldberg shows in NFL broadcasts that when challenged he falls apart completelyI Wild Each It;n6420 said:Jim Ross?
Galanis;n6424 said:I'm a huge fan of Bas too but personally I don't really like his commentary in WSOF these days. He was by far my favorite commentator ever, and maybe fave personality in the sport.. But I feel like he doesn't care much about WSOF, and I can't blame him really, because that organization is very ass backwards and has fucked over many fighters. But yeah, he has just become different over there IMO, less analytical, more goofy stuff, less care in general.
My favorite possible combo would be Mauro and Rogan. Mauro has gotten a lot better over in boxing as opposed to SF where he was very over the top. But he calls boxing now just like he called PRIDE back in the day, very professional and smart while showing emotion in the right time. I'd gladly take boxing Mauro + Rogan, with a 3rd guy in the both, possible Brian Stann.
I always liked having a pro fighter there, whether it was Couture back in the day, or Stann now.. It just adds to it IMO.
Mauro, Rogan and Stann, and I'd be happy. I always wanted Bas too, but unless he really dedicated himself, I think that'd be my perfect combo.
Will never happen tho
Yep, that was a good fight.TwentyNineTwentyEight;6430 said:29-28 Tuminov, rnds 2 & 3.
today is an undercard with a lot of finishesGalanis;n6428 said:Lol speaking of Golide always saying the same shit, the UFC has absolutely stopped giving a fuck with their PPV promos. EVERY SINGLE ONE features the same exact sound clips of Rogan and Goldie.
Literally, dozens of PPVs in a row have had Rogan saying "OHHHH! HE HURT EM!!!" on every fucking commercial. Do they not care? Their posters have also been retarded lately, I never thought I'd actually want the old shitty style of generic posters back. I can't stand the ones where they photoshop the fighters as if they're hitting each other, or the ones like Gus/AJ and Conor/Siver where one guy is front and center, and the other guy is in the background
It's just so lazy. Combine that with all the watered down shit cards they put on, it's no surprise why people don't care as much. Every event is the same and when it's over there is another one next week, with 1-2 good fights, and 10 fights featuring people nobody knows, who all fight the same way
Great main events lately but horrible undercards 8 out of 10 times.
