Do the Iran-backed militias in Syria have any logistical connection to Iran-backed Shia militias in Iraq?

I can't wait to hear a statement from Biden on the matter. Should clear things up.

I think these were probably actual Iran-backed Iraqi militias in Syria CMNH.
Well good. Fuck 'em. Their latest actions could not go unchecked.

Hopefully they learn from this. I doubt it, but it should at least make them more cautious in the future. SOHR is reporting 22 dead, all militants.

Yeah. This drone strike should set them straight.
The previous 5000 strikes didn't change anything - but THIS ONE. THIS IS THE ONE that drives our point home.

I agree it deserved a response. But it's not going to change anything.

Just checked. This was the 5th time the U.S. has attacked one or more of these militias.

But you're right about it not changing anything. We last bombed Kataib Hezbollah in December 2019, and in October 2020 they declared a ceasefire against U.S. forces. Good to see that held lol.

Thank you. I just read that they control a border crossing there? Not very responsible of the Iraqi government to employ them for that, but A) idk that they are strong enough to refuse them and B) I know the Iraqi government has a tough time trying to appease the U.S. and Iran at the same time.

You think there's any chance Iran ordered the previous Irbil strike to gain leverage in the nuclear deal restart negotiations?

I hate politics. Dems and Republicans are two sides of the same coin.

Psaki from 2017 and Biden from 2019 on Trump administration air strikes:

The hypocrisy of politicians knows no bounds. :(
