nice, this was my grandfathers that he left to me. I have another Savage lever action from him chambered in 22 mag. He also left me a cool over under, its a 22 LR/22Mag on top and a .410/45 on the bottom.

it breaks down into two pieces about 14-15? inches long...pretty sweet

Yes it is def a gimmick gun but it's cool to see where tech is going. Another 5 years and they may have it figured out where it is usable
There's not really any ground breaking tech in that gun.

I can't think of any place where I could take that zipgun that I couldn't take a regular pistol...and a regular pistol would be far more useful.
if you want a two shot derringer then bond arms snakeslayer can fire 45 LC and .410 that will spread like mad from the short barrel

ya that is the problem...obviously it shouldn't be a primary self defense gun due to capacity
I think .410 only holds 4 balls of 00 Buck
but if you go to smaller stuff it will spread out enough to cover a huge area even at shorter range(hickok45 did a demo on those bond arms 2 rounders)...obviously it loses self defense usefulness with the smaller shot
I have one but haven't tested that out yet...maybe I will post some comparison pics of different shot
