I bought a new shotgun the other day, so I took it out for some target shooting along with a couple of pistols yesterday. I guess my shoulder got a bit beat up by the shotgun. I have a big ole black & blue.

In the morning, I got a cardio session in.
Then I went and bought a case for my shotgun and made it home in time to watch the Yankees beat the Twins. That game ended in the early afternoon, so I rode my bike down to the Mariners game and watched them narrowly lose to the White Sox before riding my bike back.
On my ride home, I was behind another cyclist down the street from my house. She had her dog in a milk crate that was zip tied to the rear rack of her bike. The zip ties snapped sending the dog tumbling. It was limping a bit, so I gave her and her dog a ride home. The dog seemed to be walking fine as we walked a block and a half to where my truck was parked.
Oh yeah, I also saw a guy gut kick a woman to the ground which was followed by her trying to get someone to call her mommy for her (she was an adult and I assume she has her own cell phone since even homeless people do). She kind of deserved it though. She was trying to fuck with his truck in the middle of traffic at a stop light. I didn't see the beginning of it, so I don't know what started it. Afterward, she claimed a) she "works for the city" which I'm guessing means she isn't employed, b) the guy is a cop which I doubt, and c) cops are "out there raping our babies".
So yeah, about 3900 calories burned, a new gun case, two baseball games, and other weird shit.

The Yankees game was postponed yesterday. They'll play a double header today. Due to that, I took the opportunity to attend another Mariners game which made today look a lot like the previous day minus the weird shit.

I also hit up Home Depot to pickup a glass cutter. I'm working on repurposing an end table into a floating shelf. And I went to Costco which was a mistake because it was f'n packed since it was closed Monday for Labor Day, but hey, I filled my tank with the cheapest gas in the city ($4.399/gal), picked up some ground beef, and hit sample city.
