Gas dryer stopped working over the weekend. Wouldn't stay lit. Narrowed the problem down to the gas valve solenoids, which should be waiting for me when I get home. They were like $20.

Nothing like working for 10 hours only to go home and put a dryer back together.

Hopefully it fixes the issue though. Hanging your laundry in the backyard like an Amish housewife sucks.

I thought I remembered posting some dryer repair shit - but this is all I found.

Cleaning out this disaster of a garage, to try and make room for a couple of kayaks.

My new pellet grill/smoker was delivered today and I just got done doing the initial burnoff. It's going to be on and popping whenever I get around to going to the store and getting some shit to cook.

I was wondering why my newish pellet grill smoker wasn't dripping grease into the grease can, and instead dripping it onto the ground. Turns out the heat deflector wasn't installed correctly. I bought the thing on costco's website and paid the extra $60 for assembly and delivery. I had no idea the heat deflector was in the wrong location. It was sitting on the bottom of the cylinder instead of elevated where it gets a bit of an angle to direct the grease into the channels, and eventually into the grease catch can. I had an extremely messy job today to do a deep clean on the internal cylinder. I should have taken pics of how nasty it was. Got it presentable after some elbow grease. I was out of disposable gloves, so this was messy as a motherfucker.

I bought a new to me bicycle yesterday. Someone in my neighborhood is moving out of the country and was looking to unload some of his belongings before his move. I picked up this bike for $150. He said he only used it a couple of times in 1.5 years he's had it. It does look pretty new. It is in great condition.

The only thing I noticed is the front brake needs to be adjusted, but I can handle that easily. The seat was too narrow for me, and I didn't care for the 700x38c fatass commuter tires. I swapped some parts from my old bike onto the new one. I put my 700x25c Gatorskin tires/tubes on the new bike along with my saddle, saddlebag, and waterbottle cage. Since I'm using my old tires, the fenders and spare tubes I already have are still useful. I also had a set of Pinhead locks on the old bike that I transferred over to the new one along with the mounts for my headlight, taillight, and cell phone.

I don't really like the riser handlebars, but I don't think the drop bars from my old bike will work given the brake / gear shift setup of the new bike. I think I'll end up picking up bullhorn style handlebars eventually.

I took it for a test drive before it got dark out, and everything is working perfectly. I'll probably sell the old one without tires/tubes since the 700x38c tires I took off the new bike are too wide for the old bike.

Here is what it looks like now.

The front derailleur on the old bike doesn't work. I think it is bent. While it is suppose to be a 24 speed, only the 8 on the rear cassette are usable. The new bike is a 16 speed, but the front derailleur works, so all 16 gears are usable.

You're going to get sooooo much pussy on that bike!

I was given a standing desk frame about a week ago. I took my old desk (which was really a small kitchen table) apart and used some boards I had laying around to turn it into a corner desk. I still need to stain the corner extension in front of the window to match the tabletop. I also need to pickup a bit of paint remover to get that white paint off of the leg.

Yesterday, I changed the oil on my truck. I wanted to repair some damage that was done as well, but the Yankees game was about to start. I decided to address those issues today.

I ended up getting up at 3:30am this morning, so I got to it. I was driving down the highway awhile back when a town truck kicked up a stone and chipped my windshield. I ordered a repair kit off of Amazon and filled it in this morning. I didn't take pics, but it's looking pretty good.

A few weeks ago, someone scrapped my front bumper while my truck was parked. After fixing the windshield, I decided to tackle this. It came out okay for the first pass. I think I'll give it a second pass. From there, I have touch up paint if needed.

Tomorrow, I plan on driving out to the forest for some target shooting. I recently rechambered an M4 from .300 Blackout to 5.56 NATO and haven't shot it yet. I plan on getting it zeroed and getting in some trigger time on a few other guns.

Looks great.
Are you driving up 90 to shoot?

I'm not going to let Officemax poor workmanship get me down, no sir.
Nothing a couple 1/4x20"s can't fix.

Guess I should have put this here instead of the not needing it’s own thread topic.

Amsoil signature series blue cap trans fluid.

Amsoil power steering fluid (changed that as well)

Amsoil severe gear 75/90 diff fluid

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5/30 but will be changing to High Performance Lubricants PCMO 5/30 when my PUP supply runs out.

I put together my new weber kettle today. The instructions were horrible but I got it done in about a half hour. It's been a long time since I've cooked on charcoal so I'm pretty stoked. Doing the burnout now.
