Jetlag woke me up early, which I enjoyed actually. Had my own room, so some time for myself to wake up slowly.

Oldschool Vegas is hilarious and in my short experience way more fun than the new big shiny Vegas

This is the old Plaza at the end of the strip (Fremont St) where Sinatra and Sammy Davis and all the big assholes of the day would party:

BEEF BOOZE BROADS lolol you could never make a sign like that nowadays:

Tons of wedding chapels everywhere. These 2 I guess just got married:

If you zoom into the photo, I accidentally caught this other couple and I thought it had some serious MEME potential, lol:

Given your back issue I'm guessing Cobrinha's gym is off the table?
Yeah too late. My back got better but would have been stupid to roll with it. I'm rolling now though feels fine. Guess I just had to un-pinch a nerve or something.

Cobrinha's gym was only open during awkward hours anyways

excuses, excuses, lol

We went to a MOB MUSEUM. Was great, you could easily spend several hours in there:

Was an ACTUAL courthouse where Mafia Gangsters were tried and questioned, sometimes on live TV:

Basically Vegas is the product of pure Mafia and Crime, lol:

Poster from old HW Boxing fight that supposedly had some high-level mob bosses attending:

Recreation of a 'Speak-Easy' underground bar. All that Crime and Mob action supposedly all sprang up from PROHIBITION, which of course created more crime than they could have hoped to have rid.

Little Door-slider where you'd have to say the password or whatever to get into the speakeasy:

Al Capone's actual GUN:

Breakdown of all the different areas of organized crime that the mobs were dealing in:

Prohibition launched all this crime...

Made me seriously wonder if those behind Prohibition were really so stupid to have not seen what would surely be a natural result? Or if perhaps Prohibition was a deliberate move in order to precisely create those conditions

Ticket to the 1919 World Series, which was later exposed to be a rigged game by the Casino Bosses in Vegas:

We had a recommendation to go drink at FRANKIE'S TIKI ROOM.

I agree with this recommendation, funky little place. GREAT music, they played all old surf/punk music and nostalgic surf movies etc on the little tv's.

A group of drunks from South Dakota showed up all in Wizard of Oz costumes for one of the women's 40th birthday, they were on a private bar-hopping tour bus. The birthday girl, dressed as Dorothy, was very drunk and started hitting on my brother, lol

I didn't take pictures because I don't like taking pictures specifically of folks I don't know. That's too bad because a saw a LOT of fucked up and hilarious characters that were 100% photo-worthy lolol

Fremont St has this awesome DIGITAL DISPLAY ROOF that spans several blocks. 24 hours a day there are CGI graphics moving up and down it, different themes, different colors. At night it is trippy AF

That's brilliant. I did the crime museum in DC which was cool but one dedicated to the mob would have been cooler.

I might have had something in my eye first time I saw The Bellagio fountains. It was set to Man in The Mirror which was really lovely. (No Jacko jokes, I thought he was a c word but I liked that track).

DO NOT BUY YOUR WEED ON THE MAIN STRIP(S)

Not even in old Vegas.

You will see LOTS of 'Cannabis Dispensaries' selling what looks like fresh bud, pre-rolled joints, edibles etc. Even on the new strip amongst the expensive hotels there were kiosks everywhere.

We found out later (yes, I bought some/got ripped off lol) that ALL WEED on the main strip is required by law to be almost zero THC. The fine print is that is it labelled 'CDB Cannabis', which is high in CBD but low in THC. You simply can't buy weed that will get you high on the main strip. Actually its more than that, its like a 5-block radius all AROUND the strips. I can only guess as to exactly why/how that law came into play.

Fortunately, of you venture beyond that 5-block radius or whatever, you can find some EXCELLENT dispensaries. I recommend MEDMEN. It was a bit of a hike through some dodgy neighborhoods to get there (lol but I enjoy that) but it was top quality. I even wonder if the weed was laced with something because it was ridiculously good

I saw some bigger MEDMEN locations in some better plazas etc later. The one we went was the closest in walking distance from where we were so we google mapped it on foot through like I said was a pretty depressing neighborhood. The funniest thing was seeing 3-4 WEDDING CHAPELS all in the same tiny block as 3-4 BAIL BOND shops all mixed up together lol. All kinds of broken and damaged people in that town man. The dispensary was small but like I said inside was quality:

I haven't been in a couple of years but I assume it's still there...there's a Trump shop in Miracle Mile if you're interested.

Yeah there was a lot of pro-Trump stuff there. I would say more than Anti-Trump which is refreshing cuz here its literally 100% anti-Trump propaganda everywhere you look.

I was curious if his hotel was maxed out, or has been receiving a drop in occupancy since he got elected?

This was the closest I got to TRUMP tower:

Also by recommendation we found this place called the NERD BAR.

I also approve this recommendation, lol.
As long as you buy drinks, you have access to a whole bunch of crazy and fun shit for FREE:

A) Cock-shaped mechanical bull riding machine, with obscure Saturday morning cartoons playing in the background:

B) An MMA Octagon you can go play in, where they have regular Midget Wrestling entertainment, BJJ comps etc:

C) Several stations where you could play hundreds of OLD VIDEO GAME CONSOLES with the real controllers:

D)Cool Artwork all over the walls:

E) 10-pin bowling:

F) Comic book artwork in the washrooms:

G) Nerd toys and memerobilia:
