NY Strip with veggies was on the menu tonight.
Greens straight out of the garden.

Didn't get to kill this cow, but it's got nice marbling. Tossed some spicy brown mustard on it, and lemon thyme (from the garden), and it was dry brined for 2 days.

Carrots out of the garden, potatoes and garlic cloves (skin on so it doesn't burn) from the store, potatoes quartered, everything tossed in olive oil, lemon thyme (from the fucking garden), salted, peppered, roasted at 400 for about an hour, then fresh parsley (from the motherfucking garden) and dill (if you didn't already know, from the fucking garden up in this bitch) sprinkled on top to flavor/garnish/make amazing.

It wouldn't post in one try, so I have to break it up. Oh well.

Remember those fucking greens? Of course you don't! It's all about the steak!!! But the greens were used, despite my republican nature. Threw them in with some olive oil, apple cider vinegar, some shit I like to call spices, and tossed it up like @conormcgregornuthugger in prison cell with @lars, except without my tongue and without a hardon.

Loaded the greens onto the center, surrounded them with the roasted potatoes and carrots, and then put the star of the show on top, and walla.

Breakfast: French omelette w/ spinach, arugula, and tomato
PXL_20230108_151043503.jpg

Lunch: Bacon & venison "chili" over rice. I tried something new and went with a beanless / mostly sauceless chili. It's good, but I'm not sure it falls under the category of chili. I think I'll have the rest of it in a wrap like a chili burrito.
PXL_20230109_011236387.jpg

Dinner: Butternut squash soup. It was my first time making it. It doesn't look good, but it's delicious.

#mealprepsunday veggies prep'ed for salads, oatmeal for tomorrow morning, & lunch / dinner mentioned above. All done along with laundry before football started for the day at 10am.

Unreal dude, looks delicious
Except that piece of lettuce escaping your scallop plate, that bugs me

For a couple days KingTony was plating better than you...Then I saw you come back to form and reclaim the crown...Now I felt like you were defending your belt until that lil piece of lettuce was discovered

Now I just don't know

Haha
I knew it was something like that, was just dumbing it down for the masses

We have arugula growing year round down here in the backyard. Cilantro, Arugula, and a bunch of other greens do fine with the low light winter here.

Still step your game up please, I don't wanna see any arugula escaping

do you buy that shit a 7-11?

do you drive there?

do you wash your own dishes?

do you clean the stove afterwards?
No, I bought those at Costco.

The 7-11 in my neighborhood closed a couple of months ago. It isn't there to drive to.

No. I have a dishwasher and a girlfriend.

I use a splatter guard.
