Deviled eggs & caesar salad.
Real Caesar salad.

20231115_184635.jpg

I'm getting close to self-sufficiency foodwise.
Other than imported specialties like organic Italian parmesan, castelvetranos & olive oil.
Well, & Himalayan salt.
Garlic powder, cayenne pepper, romaine, kale, tomatoes, onions, avacados as well as eggs & pickling recipe will all be at hand length by yours truly by this time next year, possibly olives & avacados if I can get them to fruit next Summer.

Anyone have a convection microwave? We just got one and my wife loves it. I only use it to heat things up, but she baked in it earlier.
Yes, I have a PowerXL. Its got a broiler thing that works like an airfryer, too. I use it a lot unless I have company(only fits about 3-4 leg quarters.

I don’t have a smoker but I want some ribs. I’m gonna cook them in the crockpot. Pretty basic, just a touch of liquid smoke, a store bought rub, let it sit for 20 minutes, throw it in the pot, pour in a bottle of BBQ sauce and let it cook on low for 8 or 9 hours. Finish in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes and hopefully, it will be fall off the bone delicious.IMG_6279.jpegIMG_6280.jpegIMG_6282.jpeg
