I've only had one real issue with Mods on the other site. Then again, I've only had one real issue here with a Mod. So despite the longer time there they are both batting about the save average for me.

You are never going to agree with someone 100% of the time so I expect to butt heads at some point. I deal with it, get over it, and move on.

There, I like the wider array of opinions and ideas but here the members are more cordial and willing to discuss before the names come out.

This site does not crash and you don't have to pay for perks of membership, but there are less forums to peruse.

So far no one here has tried to %$#@ with my livelihood or been insulting to my family. However I have yet to be invited to train, visit, or hit an event with anyone here.

It's apples and oranges I would say. Each has it's place and function.

Any site that would have me as a member is probably a site that I shouldn't be part of.

I'll be around when I can. I get pretty busy and disappear for months at a time. I am often working in national parks or ski resorts without very good internet so I come and go.

I still think this place has fantastic potential, just needs to attract and keep more users.

I'm curious, admins, owners, what are you guys doing to grow the userbase here?

Social Media and word of mouth. Our marketing budget sort of looks like this...

Woah! That would make a pretty incredible thread with some pics man
I've made a few threads on the UG and Reddit about it. I could probably put one together for you guys soon.

Basically, I've lived and worked in 8 national parks along with a few ski resorts and a couple of other seasonal resorts. I've been doing it since 2003 and may very well be in another park pretty soon.

Good to see Dreamer back. classy poster on the other site.
I appreciate that. I was always a big fan of your videos.

I was meaning to hit you up about my Reddit and UGGP events. I'd love to get some kind of promotional video for the event and your skill and humor would probably make for a great combo. Problem is, I have the same budget as this site. I do most of the work myself to get these events off the ground and never ask for a dime for it, I just try to find some way to trade in a sponsorship sort of way.

Hit me up if you are interested, maybe we can work something out if you are game.

I got banned for talking about sketchy shit Cindy did to me and of course no mods ever answer an email to explain.
CindyO was always an interesting character. I never had an issue with her personally.

One thing I respected about her is I never saw her run to the mods crying about people shit talking her. She'd stand her ground and throw blows with the best of them.

Some people thought she was a UFC shill. To my knowledge she was a friend of Dana Whites and a former UFC employee so I couldn't blame her for her loyalties.

As far as I know, the mods kind of left shit alone with her. She did what she wanted, she got shit on sometimes for it and the world kept turning.

I feel you on that.

Do you plan on selling advertising space on this website at some point?
Eventually, yes. Trying to get our house in order a little here first. We want to be choosy of who we partner with as well.

Well, I am friends with the guys who own and operate MMAadnet. In case you aren't aware of them they do the majority of MMA advertising online. I'd be glad to put you in touch with them anytime.

They are good people and very good at what they do.

Yeah but she used private info about me which she asked in pm and I answered and she used it to hurt me in real life

Wow thanks brother. Really appreciate the generosity. I'll let @Splinty weigh in, as he's been handling that aspect of the site. Thanks again and really cool to see you continuing to hang around.

No problem.

@Splinty Drop me an email at DreamerMMA@gmail.com or PM me here and I'll give you details and contact info if you'd like to talk to those people.

I know you guys said your marketing budget is nothing right now so this might be something you do a little later but these guys can be a big help if you are going the advertising route.

If the ads make you guys some money, go for it baby!
Thx man. And thanks again DreamerMMA @DreamerMMA. We obviously need to start subsidizing the site, but we dont want to have gaudy ads all over the place either. So we're trying to be strategic about it. Just been concentrating so much of our time on getting the site up & running, and trying to get people here...that its taken a back seat in the interim.

I get that. Last thing I want to see is ugly ass ads and especially autoplay ads all over your site.

The guys at Ingrained Media should be able to help you be selective and smart about how yo do things.

Their website is Ingrained Media | Full Service Marketing, Media and Talent Management Company

You and the members should check their site out and decide for yourselves if you want to work with them. IMO they are the best in the business for MMA advertising.

Also check out MMAadnet | The Mixed Martial Arts Advertising Network for more info.
