How American universal healthcare absolutely sucks versus that in Europe? One of my homeboys over there was complaining about a $200 decuctable, and a certain premium. When he heard what I now pay, he was shocked. Just real life comparisons from different people from different nations. The plates of SHIT we eat here in America is absolutely unprecedented, make no mistake. Same with the banking system, the food industry, prison industry, and sub-par educational system with attached of course the student loan scheme.
I can't make accurate statements of how it is now, but I can't recall ever having to pay a medical bill, nor a co-pay, decudtable or whatever back home. That may be very different now. But here, it is banana's. We are crazy we play along with this.

I once checked "the marketplace"...I chose to opt out of insurance last year because I smelled Bullshit. So I stopped regesering mid-progress, and with that information they e-mailed me, called me, and when I called back, they asked me not to call them anymore haha. But they were phone numbers in my phone I did not recognize. I will not show you all these examples, but believe me or not, my gmail inbox was full of friendly reminders, it was creepy. Reminded me of this big breasted Korean chick I've dated. Very stalky...haha.

Yeah you're right. But I think even you would agree that cutting back on the war machine is not the answer, especially when our NATO allies can't even reach the goal of 2% of their GDP on defense spending.
Perhaps there are ways to cut spending in some areas and perhaps there are not. But cutting even 1¢ of defense spending is not, and will never be, the answer.
It's easy to sit under the protective shadow of the eagle and say that it should patrol the skies less. It's a whole different story when you're the eagle.
Only the eagle can understand this.

So very many people i have talked to about this subject are clueless. I had a little buddy just get out of college try to tell me that the defense budget was the most important thing in our government. (His dad is a hardCORE republican so i think that's where he gets it) I then asked him if he was planning on joining the cause he so firmly believed in and sign up for the military. You should have seen the dick tuck stammering. You'd have liked it for sure.So you'd rather pay to protect Western Europe from Russia than get free healthcare for every American. Thanks

The UK doesn't need the US military. The only conceivable threat to us is Russia and they want no part of fucking with us. They were hit hard by Aussie sanctions. Imagine an EU embargo?
The US needs its military to sustain the petrodollar and maintain a regular way of life for its citizens. When the petrodollar falls - and it's coming soon - the US economy is going to tank HARD. I feel bad for the American people who will be fucked over by the greed of Nixon.

We've got mandatory healthcare insurance, we pay about a €100 for a basic package and about € 150 to 200 for the best coverage a month and have a "own risk policy" of €385 a year.
Doctors visit are not count and are payed for by the basic package, specialist are not and will eat that €385 first and than the insurance kicks in.
Children under 18 get on the parents policy for free and get most procedures payed for out of the basic package
A decade ago or a bit longer we payed about €15 to €30 a month for government healthcare and than the fuckers privatized it, and made the plebs believe it would get cheaper because the private insurance company's would compete with each other, yeah sure mandatory and competing doesn't go well together does it?
Income tax is just changed box 4 ended around 56K in the past.

Americans will typically just say no to the healthcare system and will point to the utter shambles which is that of the NHS which they are trying to privatise whether we want to think that or not.

I have no problem with healthcare for everyone, the problem with the bullshit we did is it fucks people that actually work. The rich people do not give a fuck and the poor people are more subsistent on handouts.
Example: 3 years ago i paid 160 a month for myself had a reasonable co-pay and no deductible. Just 3 short years later i pay 230 a month, 10 dollar more co-pay and a 8000 dollar deductible.
In my opinion its not about helping anyone get on their feet and do better its about keeping people down and bringing those that do for themselves down to a level where they need the government.
This seems true in a number of areas in the US, including healthcare, higher education, the legal system etc.
No one want a truely fair system. Isnt enough money in it. Fair means equal which would mean all services would be available to everyone equally regardless of how much money you make.
Basic healthcare should be available equally and if you have money yet choose to use the free services you should be able to. Also if you have the funds to afford private healthcare then thats your choice. I think healthcare overall would probably suffer because the incentive to be a better doctor would be taken away but it would be fair.
They tried to revamp our system during this last government by bringing in "universal health insurance" which had a very similar end game to what you describe, they couldn't do it because with of all the other cuts they were close to boiling it over at the time. I fully expect this to happen after this current election though.
Its a double edge sword but anyone who thinks either side of our government isnt for big business is a idiot. The Dems gave health insurers a blank check when they passed this shit.

We need another perfect storm to happen here like when Teddy Roosevelt became president. You cant have balls and buck the system if you want to get elected and its pretty sad. Most people i know sit somewhere in the middle but only vote one way.
Personally I'd like to see a third way in the US. Just to change things up.

Over here we have free healthcare. I have private medical coverage on top of that.
