I love that stuff. Don’t make it at home much but there’s a few pho places I frequently eat at.
I do the same, this is my first go at home.
Trying to become proficient with these healthier eastern-based foods I enjoy, and that incorporate foods synonymous with healing properties.

This is another asian food hot pepper that is supposed to have medical benefits. The sensation you get from cracking a peppercorn from it in your mouth is almost like getting an electrical shock.

Sichuan pepper - Wikipedia

I highly recommend mixing the two pepper types together and making kick ass kung pao chicken.

Lunch: Salmon with sweet potato & veggies. There was some brown sugar in the salmon seasoning that caramelized well and was f'n delicious!

Dinner: Steak with broccoli & mashed maple jalapeno sweet potato.

I work outside all day and drink a minimum of 4 litres of water (a milk jug for you Americans). I put two tablespoons of powdered Gatorade in the jug to give it a bit of taste.
Nice...I also work outside all day and have to chug the liquids

I prefer gatorade that way(made from powder) I don't like the pre made stuff

The store bought is way too sweet. I wanted to buy unsweetened Kool aid and put a tablespoon of sugar and a quarter teaspoon of salt in it (per 4 litres / 1 gallon) but you can’t buy it in Canada anymore that’s when I found the Gatorade powder. As long as you don’t put anywhere near the amount they say in it’s quite good and the flavour makes me drink more than I would with straight water.
