TMMAC Monopoly Board Game

Might have to start over (kind of) to make sure the board is printable without losing quality, but there is still plenty for me to do on it while I wait to find out if I've fucked up

Still taking suggestions for Street names but ONLY for your own Street, I'm not going to accept offensive names aimed at other members, grow the f*ck up haha. Also taking suggestions for the player pieces. We have a Yacht, Mountain Bike and Rally Car so far.

Updated the OP just to reflect that it's Street Names I want suggestions for, not properties. I was using the wrong terminology

tempted to use an advanced Monopoly board like this one so we can have more custom streets etc (I've never seen this before)

It could be tricky rolling the dice once that board has a lot of property pieces on it though, I'd have to make a few changes to reduce the height of the tiles, and just leave the corners as they are because they don't have pieces on them anyway. I'm warming to the task

I was thinking of stalking all Galt's (Headbutt) posts for different stories to use for those

Galt's Chance Encounters as someone else suggested earlier in the thread

couple of months? part of why I started the thread was so I could get help with street names and other stuff, and the thread reappearing until details are finalized creates more chances for tmmac members to see it and participate.

for a fully playable set? yup

I can't dedicate 16hrs a day to it even though I will do that occasionally lol, I've done 32hr sessions before when I was deep into a project. You'd be surprised at how long "simple" jobs can take, and you can't always be efficient when you're figuring it out as you go along.

Tonight I've been focused on working out the right dimensions for the board because it affects every card and all the pieces, but I should have the new board template resized and cleaned up tonight now that I do, and then I can begin again. Seeing that more complex board design has really inspired me, and I was bummed out about the "classic" design to be honest.

You're going to have to give me a better idea of what that might look like, and are you suggesting a street name or a game piece?

If the latter then just like with classic monopoly pieces there won't be any people, only modes of transportation, objects that can be carried or worn, and animals etc so bear that in mind, but if it was street then I could include a person too.

for those that thought this was "WTF" there's another one with a 3rd ring of tiles haha, but I've decided to go in my own direction with the board design now that I have some great new ideas to work with, and maybe I'll have 3 rings too

Essentially it was a forum where bad threads (good threads) got sent when they descended into arguments. All the frozen threads would get sent there with it's awesome colour scheme to waste away. No ratings etc. It was the forum prison but it was great. Click the dump and see all the too extreme for regular viewing threads. I miss the dump it was great
