I told this idiot to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot just offhand. Just Googled mirrored glass and Lowe’s is right there. Home Depot has a huge selection upon googling. Now he’s here second guessing me.

Any glass shop will be able to get you that. The Depot or Lowes will certainly work, but if you are looking for a specific size it would probably be easier at a local store. My dad almost lost 2 fingers to a table saw. He still has them but they're at a bit of an angle now.
I have seen it happen three times.
One was a router. Basically just turned this dude's finger into hamburger. Wasn't much left.
The other was a table saw. Cut the tip of his thumb off at the knuckle. We didn't know it at the time though - we rushed him to the hospital and didn't think to look for the missing part.
The cleanest one was a band saw. Dude cut his index finger off. That one I grabbed and put in a bag, then put the bag in another bag with ice. They got that one back on OK. I see the guy every now and then. He always buys me a beer when we run into each other. You can't really tell he cut it off, although it doesn't have the dexterity that his other fingers have.

Same here. When I worked construction, we made competitions out of who took the longest to nail down a sheet, or whatever it was we happened to be working on that day.
Tying rebar for 8-10 hrs a day was the absolute worst job I’ve ever had though.
Never had to do that, thankfully.
At age 48 now, I look back and wonder how much bending over for 8-10 hrs a day for months on end contributed to back problems, etc. it sucked ass.
That's what happens when you're careless on the tools. Router would be the worst of them. Band/table saws will relatively cut pretty clean. Routers just tear shit up.
