I use nailguns occasionally. Although I do maintain that it's important for a framer to know how to swing a hammer.Listen here gramps. You probably get mad when people use air nailers too. Things change. Deal with it.

Everyone has stiletto hammers these days and I think they’re gay. @ShatsBassoon agrees. Do you thricely concur?I use nailguns occasionally. Although I do maintain that it's important for a framer to know how to swing a hammer.
Plus you don't get Popey forearms like mine from squeezing a trigger.
Never even heard of that brand.Everyone has stiletto hammers these days and I think they’re gay. @ShatsBassoon agrees. Do you thricely concur?
They make ultra light titanium hammersNever even heard of that brand.
I've always been an Estwing guy.
I swing a 20oz. I've probably had that hammer for 20+ years. Indestructible. They make ultra light titanium hammers
I’ve seen as low as 8 ounces I think
I have the new estwing ultra hammers, the 19oz framer and the 15 ounce as well. They are black. I like that. I also still have the estwing my dad used when he first came to Canada and gave to me.
God I love estwing.
They look like hammers with a slight case of down syndrome.

Dreamt and Milwaukee have good cordless versions of each type of circular saw.I'm in the market for a cordless circular saw. Mostly handyman type stuff, might build a large storage shed next to the house...other than that, just whacking 2X4s and plywood for DIY projects.
most of my cordless stuff is Hitachi, corded is Bosch or Porter Cable, but I have all of it for a long time - I'm OK with moving to a new platform and swapping out tools as I go. I kind of want a worm-drive, but that's just my inner carpenter talking. I think direct-drive is more appropriate for what I'm doing.
