I'm in the woods on the western side of the Appalachian Mountains in SE Ohio. It's about 30 degrees fahrenheit right now. Looks like it's gonna be a great day.

Are there any rules about the collection of firewood in Ohio?
Transporting wood across county lines is frowned upon. I only burn local wood.

Most of the leaves were already on the ground. I think I missed it by a week or so.
Great weekend though. Spent the first night by myself. Met up with some buddies on day 2/night 2. Hence the ridiculously large fire.
Lots of guitar playing, bourbon drinking and storytelling around the fire. Perfect weekend.
I'm heading back out in a couple weeks.
