Yeah, at the moment we've barely had much community spread so far, with only 2 confirmed cases in Melbourne (obviously higher than the numbers show, but our testing is middle of the road - nowhere near as good as South Korea but much better than the US). And that's being reported as good news. The thing is though, it's been 80+ degrees Fahrenheit for 6 out of the last 8 days, so we're still in the last gasps of summer. It's (very limited) evidence that predictions of a summer respite are accurate.
I'm hoping for an as yet unpredicted 'Mr Burns' effect, whereby we suddenly get simultaneously exposed to every disease known to man, they cancel each other out and we become indestructible.
