Ah ok, I thought it looked like a viper head.
I’m only familiar with the rattlers we have here. I see those fuckers all the time, so my ears are always on high alert for that sound.

run into them a lot down in caves, which is a horrible place to be with them because you’re so confined.
I'm not familiar with any of them, haha. Husband told me to run, so I ran. Literally thinking a bear was about to attack me.

You going into caves with them has given me a new phobia. Can I be on your emergency call list? Fuck haha.

Did my best to improve the lighting/clarity in these. It was a very sunny day.

Gators/gator path

Southern black racer (Coluber constrictor priapus) frozen in fear because he just realized I'm a "real one". I know this photo is terrible.

More green anoles than I've ever seen in one day before. I saw 7 total but I'll just post the best photos here

Lmk how many seconds it takes you to spot this one

Even got to see and film an unsuccessful hunt by a green anole of some sort of paper wasp

I'm not too happy with Asia at the moment.

Coronavirus is fucking up my nightlife because our pussy governor just closed all bars and restaurants, and I just spent an entire Sunday removing an invasive Asian shrub from my property.

Get your shit together, Asia!

One if that, only due to the curve of the tail.

I miss wildlife, Norfolk was awesome for really pretty coloured birds and quite often Praying Mantis. I'd freak out and get Orkin out if I found a single cricket indoors but I do miss the birds.

Didn't know deers have learned to swim in the swamplands.

Ohio deer > Florida deer

Almost hit these fuckers on my driveway.
Those white tails?

I was a little surprised to see them in the swamp too honestly.

Oh and yes your deer are bigger. Bergmann's rule - Wikipedia explains why.

There's a subspecies of white-tails in the Florida Keys called Key deer. They've been protected for a while so they're super friendly, but the fuckers are tiny

Damn, that is a little deer. People down here in Texas talk about the big deer, but they're small compared to the corn-fed deer I grew up around in the midwest.

Sent this to @Lars and he was so horribly off that I thought I'd post it and see if any of you could survive longer than 4 hours in the swamp

Find the lizard in this photo:

I see something in the bottom right maybe?

Let me know if you want my stimulus money to buy a camera that isn't a potato.
