Their stores creep me out for some reason but my lady loves the damn place. Good stuff at good prices but I just feel like I'm buying shit out the back of @jason73 's van.Spent $75 at Aldi

We ordered from Shipt yesterday which went rather well and mom took advantage of the early bird senior hour at Publix this morning. This is the last trip she's taking out of the house for a while though since those senior hours at the shops get crowded defeating the purpose of any form of distancing.Just did the same thing. It was busier than it would be normally at this time but still mostly empty. No tilapia but I got chicken and beef. They also had disinfectant wipes, which was nice.
Spent $75 at Aldi which is like $7,000 at a normal grocery store. I should be good for another week.
A lot of retards wearing masks in public lol
The stores they opened early on are way ghetto but still have some great deals on actually decent quality. Their meat has been better than Publix by a long mile in most cases. The newer stores are a bit more "modern" looking.Their stores creep me out for some reason but my lady loves the damn place. My wife hates going there bit loves their products, which means I go there a lot during normal times.Their stores creep me out for some reason but my lady loves the damn place. Good stuff at good prices but I just feel like I'm buying shit out the back of @jason73 's van.
Has Lidl started spreading like herpes in Florida yet? They seem to be a swankier Aldi. Which means that I still haven't been in one yet but they're everywhere up here now.The stores they opened early on are way ghetto but still have some great deals on actually decent quality. You would hate me. I get all John Travolta Pulp Fiction gif just trying to figure out what's going on.I always get annoyed when people are there for the first time and don't understand how the checkout process works.
Walmart has the best grocery delivery that I've seen so far but all of them (Walmart, Aldi, Publix) are having problems with supply in my area. I woke up early this morning to reserve a Walmart time for tomorrow (as they only do two days in advance and the times are released in the morning and gone by the afternoon) and half the shit I wanted was out of stock. We ordered from Shipt yesterday which went rather well and mom took advantage of the early bird senior hour at Publix this morning. We should be good for the next few weeks. I just need to come up with an at home workout routine or I'm going to start piling on the weight which I hate...
I've never heard of them so I'm going to say no, they're not in the Orlando area at least. (upon a quick google maps search it appears they haven't made it further south than SC yet).Has Lidl started spreading like herpes in Florida yet? They seem to be a swankier Aldi. Yeah when Mrs. Velvet went to order from Shipt, half of the stuff was out of stock on the website itself so we couldn't even attempt to order it. But at this point, I'll take what I can reasonably get. I have 20lbs of rice, 10lbs of sweet potatoes, 20lbs of different meats in the freezer, lots of flour for bread making etc. The only thing we couldn't find was yeast (seriously) so we're going to make a sourdough starter if yeast can't be procured in the next 24 hours or so.Walmart has the best grocery delivery that I've seen so far but all of them (Walmart, Aldi, Publix) are having problems with supply in my area. I almost tried shipt with Target yesterday but it had the same supply problems.
I always thought this was Trader Joe's (which, funnily enough, is owned by German company Aldi North while US Aldi stores are owned by Aldi South).Has Lidl started spreading like herpes in Florida yet? They seem to be a swankier Aldi.
It's the idiots wearing gloves that bother me. They are touching everything indiscriminately with contaminated gloves and transfering the virus everywhere. At least with bare hands they are constantly washing and disinfecting them and are more careful about what they touch. I brought my own disinfecting wipes to Publix for the card reader lol.Just did the same thing. It was busier than it would be normally at this time but still mostly empty. No tilapia but I got chicken and beef. They also had disinfectant wipes, which was nice.

Just because the fatties are getting restless doesn't mean that you can kill them. Gosh.Interesting aspect of this whole social distancing thing. The hogs seem to be getting more ballsy with less people out. Time to go kill a bunch on Friday
I’m here for you in these turbulent times
if queen Lizzie dies we have to shut down the entire commonwealth
I saw a couple of masks and made it a point to kind of watch them. One touch their mask to adjust it and the other did not. I also saw a guy walking around with gloves on holding a paper towel to his mouth breathing through it. I wanted to advise him that simply tying a bandana around his face would be more useful and less harmful from him touching his face with his now tainted gloves, but I demuredJust did the same thing. I'm glad to see the toilet paper shortage is still a thing.Didn't your prime minister just seize power?
Trudeau will be Bolsonaro authoritarian by the end of all of this.

Whole store was full of old people. I gave everybody a solid 6-ft berth.
There are some limits on some basic staple items like milk. My preferred brands are not always in stock. And I had hoped to cook some pork belly this weekend but they had none. But these are kind of wimpy boo-hoo items. Overall the supply chain is doing okay except for one thing...
No damn toilet paper
it's been around, nothing links this or the other two arrests to anything with the virus.Did not read whole thread but everyone knows about this Harvard Prof doing sketchy shit at Wuhan University right before Corona blew up and getting millions of dollars? And now he is arrested
