Upgrading to leather seats in the RV, lots of quality time with a welder and a micrometer. The new seats sit 2.5" taller, so I'm going to have to re-engineer the base. The passenger side is mocked up, the welding is done but it's clamped to the base instead of bolted. But the driver is bolted and powered.
It's turning out real nice, lots of moving the driver seat in and out to get it just perfectly square and centered. The passenger side I just picked a datum on the existing seat and fabricated by rule. I'll get a picture of how tight my clearances worked out, looks about factory.
The shitty thing is that after I do the base reduction, I'll probably be close enough to the original height that I could have used the factory feet and fabbed an adapter...but that's the way these things go.
