In sequence
"Cases" are dropping for many reasons...one of the main reasons is testing is now at a normal levels that had previously been used to detect active infections.

The PCR cycles being used for most of the Pandemic were absurd and massively misrepresented how many people had and died from covid...I said all of this 9 months ago...Fauci and the CDC quietly admitted this and most places are now testing appropriately(links to this are all posted in this thread)

The reason is vaccines.

Canada doesn't have any and we're seeing cases at a rate we haven't in the last year.
No one said anything about PCR testing. You brought it up, and I addressed it. World keeps on spinning.
You quoted me homeboy

PCR is a huge variable in "cases"

If you don't wanna hear about it, then don't quote a post that touches on it

I wish you many vaccines if you choose to receive them

As I pointed out to you. If that were the main reason, cases would have stayed low in all places where testing protocols changed. They didn't. They only stayed low when vaccines were introduced at the same time. In places where protocols were changed, but vaccines weren't introduced cases have shot back up.
Fauci isn't quite sure about that cornpop

Cases in Florida (both raw numbers and positivity rate) have been on the rise for a few weeks.

Might want to do your research before you go on such a retarded shitrant...
Would you keep the restrictions in place till there are zero cases?

Of course not. A gradual relaxation of restrictions and making shit regionally based makes the most sense imo.

But I also don't think packing an indoor arena full of drunk MMA fans in Jacksonville is a good idea.

they are saying on your current vaccines program you may reach herd immunity before we do.

in 5 months. But that doesn’t make sense as the ones who die are already vaccinated.

it doesn’t make sense.

that is very well written. Have you quoted that? Doesn’t seem to match your angry, frustrated persona.

I think they are dangling the vaccine in front of y'all as far as mandates/lockdowns
Canada's a big country, I can't speak for all of it. Around here our local health "experts" are begging people to stop ignoring their recommendations.

Once we have 70-80% of the adult population vaccinated, that time frame will slow down because we can't vaccinate kids yet.

It's what has happened in Israel. They were on pace to reach herd immunity within a month. Now it's 3 months because they're running out of people to vaccinate and can't match their previous pace.

TIL

Canada is a big country.
90% of the inhabitants live within view of the U.S.. Naked eye, not binoculars.

We also have more grizzly bears (brown bears) in Alaska than they do in their entire fookin country.

Read that earlier. Bizarre story. They already paid for 10 million vaccines at around 3-4x market value because they wanted them first. Now they haven't paid on an additional 2.5 million.

If they were being stereotypically (an inaccurate stereotype in my experience) cheap, they wouldn't have already shelled out $75 a dose for the first 10 million.
