Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

Interpret that in a way that is not vile and barbaric.

Or tell me that Sahih al-Bukhari is not real Islam.

Or tell me that the source I linked to is un-Islamic.

??
How about you ask me those questions. Its about the end of this world . Its a prediction.
Its not mentioned in Quran to fight jews or anything like that.
Secondly there are contradictions in many books of hadiths.

I am not going to get into this with you in this thread, because it is not the place for it.

But you claiming that Islam does not condone violence against Jews and subjugation of non-believers, is laughable.

What a surprise.

I give you the respect of answering your question honestly, and clarifying my stance for you.

You respond with a two-line snarky post where you address exactly nothing of what I said (or even attempt to), put up a lame trolling non-response, and then run like a bitch rather than even attempt to answer the simple, on-topic question that I asked you. Because you know that you can't answer it honestly. So you'll just throw a little passive-aggressive hissy fit, and now there's no conversation to be had.

What a bitch.

If you're not willing to engage in dialogue then just shut the fuck up, eh?

??
I asked how you reconcile liking someone that you don't respect. You responded by saying "I do respect them just not their religion which is inherently part of them and from which they can't decouple themselves." That response makes no sense and trying to change the subject to being about women's rights under sharia law doesn't change that. If you want to be angry, as seems to be your thing, so be it, but don't act as if I'm the one being unreasonable.

I don't respect the devout religion that they were born into. Just as I don't respect the devout religion that I was born into.

I understand that it is not nearly so easy for them to renounce their religion, as it was for me to renounce mine. That's a big part of the problem as I see it. My older relatives were disappointed when I stopped going to mass, and told me so, but they were never going to cut ties with me over it. Not the case for my two friends. But then, modern Catholicism is nowhere near as strict as Islam is. Because it's gone through a reformation, which Islam can never do because of the way the religion is set up. You'll not comment on that inability to reform, of course.

Perhaps you would prefer it if I had cold-shouldered the two of them? Or been actively hostile to them? They know my stance on their religion and they're fine with it. A lot of the problems I have with their religion, they have the same problems but they can't vocalise it in their communities without losing that community. I don't respect any ideology that makes it so that your loyalty to the cult supercedes your loyalty to your family and friends and society. Not Islam, not People's Temple, not Westboro Baptists, not Scientology, not Mormonism.

Now, cue your next two-line, snarky, passive-aggressive bitchmade response that addresses nothing of what I said and fails to address any of the inconsistencies in your own stance.

How happy is Biden that New Orleans just got clobbered by a hurricane?

Afghanistan what? Delta Variant who?

Time to get that approval rating back up above 50%

Earlier you had flatly declared that you don't respect moderate Muslims which is what spurred the discussion. If you're now amending that stance it becomes different, slightly more consistent, conversation.

You constantly look for a gotcha moment when anyone with a brain can clearly see Mr Pettimore is speaking his truth and not been inconsistent at all.

you on the other hand....

It's rare to see a post where not a single word is accurate, but bravo on your accomplishment.

@Lars did you know the Pashtuns ( majority of talibans) follow Jewish customs.
Majority of their rituals are Jewish
