Probably even though they shouldn't be since they're effectively quitting by choosing to not do something that's required by the employer.
I can't speak for America, but here if your employer changes the terms of your employment and you choose not to accept the new terms it's legally considered to be the same as being fired without cause.

I kinda thought it was.
I'm not good at math so people can feel free to correct me, but 256/50 000 = .00512. So it's about a .5% chance that you'll die if you contract covid and you're vaccinated. America has 660k deaths and 41m cases. 660000/41000000=.016, so about a 1.5% chance of dying from covid if you don't bother getting the vaccine at all. I would have hoped that deaths in the vaccinated would be exceedingly rare. I do appreciate the irony of the article explaining that "X amount of people who did die had shit immune systems anyways", lol.

My favorite part was the average age of breakthrough cases was 84.

I believe they referenced immunocompromised individuals, and specifically secondary to existing treatments that caused it. Not just somebody with a weak immune system as a pejorative.

It's the only comorbidity worth mentioning since it directly affects the likelihood of vaccine response. The question for those individuals is whether they should represent vaccinated deaths or people who essentially cannot be vaccinated and are a physiologically unvaccinated since they don't develop an immune response.

For what it's worth the only vaccinated patient I've had to in my hospital was a person with autoimmune disease and long-term immunosuppressant agents. That's the kind of case they are referencing. That person probably won't be harmed by vaccine but probably doesn't get much benefit Even though they're high risk for covid.

If I only had 1/3 of the patients I'd have no hospital overruns.
If you only had 1/3 of the deaths we would have saved 400,000 American lives.

And even then the math isn't great because You will have less breakthrough cases in the vaccinated once you don't have them camped out right next to a large unvaccinated population.

I completely understand, but we've been labeling people selfish morons for using the same wording when it was about reopening.

The math also isn't great because 500k of the American deaths came prior to vaccines being widely available. That being said, I'm not anti vax, I've taken the vaccine. I'm just saying that numbers aren't inspiring. I would just like for everyone to be a little more honest and admit that the vaccine we bought was very different from the vaccine we received. It's like we ordered the vaccines from Wish.

Chris Wallace Grills GOP Guv: Why Do You Oppose Vaccine Mandates for COVID but Not Chickenpox?
Wallace retorted that Nebraska’s school system actually requires students to be vaccinated against a series of diseases, wondering aloud why Ricketts appeared to be fine with those requirements but not a mandate for the COVID-19 shots.

“You say it’s a personal choice. In fact, to attend school in your state of Nebraska, children must be vaccinated against a number of diseases. They must be vaccinated against Diptheria, tetanus, and pertussis; polio; measles, mumps, and rubella; Hepatitis B; chickenpox,” the veteran anchor said.

I want to hear from that 4% more than I can explain
Could it not be 4% of the public that is awaiting the time frame for their second vaccine (not fully vaccinated)and then of course any poll is going to have a sd -/+ of a couple percent
