Fixed some doors. In normal circumstances I'd have don't the paperwork and the vendor would have came out next week to correct them. Diddnt have time, so I just spent the day figuring thier dumb shit out and fixing it for them. Fucken thrashed me a bit mentally tho, I know the cunt who would've came out next week too, I could've just called him and asked how to fix the fuckers on video chat or something.

That's cheating

Technically yesterday, but I climbed up on the sunroom roof and replaced an old piece of corrugated plastic sheeting that broke in a storm a couple of days ago.

Also staunched out a goat that was getting a bit stroppy.

Gotcha

Kindly remove this post from the "manly" thread and relocate it to your "things that don't deserve their own thread" thread.

Thanks.
It's manly to work on a creative project in your garage. Good hobby, working with my hands, good for mental health. Plus, I'll use the leftover materials to make another one, and sell it for a few hundred bucks.

Who would buy a board game? I'm confused.

When I work in the garage it's generally on an engine.

Official 3D printed version goes for $US300.

This one is selling on etsy for $US270.

Mine looks better than either of them. ?

Plus, I find making the tiles to be zen as fuck. I put on a podcast and make another little wheat or sheep or timber tile, and my brain just....... chills right the fuck out. Something really meditative about it, I stroll back into the house feeling awesome.

Good for you.

When I work in the garage, it's generally either on a project like a game board or a model ship, or I'm restoring an old piece of wooden furniture.

Where’s the T-Rex frame?
I still think you need a Dale Earnhardt one too.

Are they strong enough to withstand the impact of clearing the table with your forearm if you lose?

Actually pretty impressed with how durable they've turned out to be. I sprayed them with some modelling glue, and basically you can pick up any tile by grabbing anything that is on it - including the little sheep. Exceeded my expectations on that front.

Plus, I don't generally throw a tantrum when I lose. My style is more just to spend the back half of the game whining that everybody is against me, and you can all go fuck yourselves.

Oh you don't have to tell me. I am professionally listening to you.

Ever since you pointed out tradesmen I have absolutely forgotten that trade and occupation are synonyms.

I am actively removing my entire southern dialect as we speak and replacing it with apologies loonies and toonies.

I will be your father once again don't you worry. I'm sorry also I love poutine.
Miesha's Taint @Miesha's Taint we could have a relationship like this if we weren't both cunts.

Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Reminds me of the Game of Thrones intro. Without the dragons. Or tits.

I'm almost afraid to ask......

You did what now?
Staunch
(Bogan Australia slang term)

To adopt a pose (usually with one’s fists between their legs) and intense stare with the purpose of intimidating or degrading a weaker individual.

Jackson hunches his shoulders over and flexes his arms inwards so his fists hover just inside his out-turned knees. He locks eyes with Tom.

Tom: “Oh shit, cunt’s fuckin staunching me. I feel like such a shitcunt beta”

?

Except I slapped her on the side of the head and growled at her when she decided to challenge me. It worked. It was a half hearted challenge, she knows who feeds her and refills her water trough. She's just getting old and a bit cranky.

I don't know where the "fists between your knees" part comes from. But to staunch someone out is to emasculate someone by taking an aggressive posture and making them defer to you, without actually physically attacking them.

that''s called a "Hendo" in the States.

"why would I hold him down if I can stare him down."
