Well, sir. When people don't trust the government they're often labelled conspiracy theorists. The security state often puts them on lists.
The problem with the pearl clutching over January 6th is that there's no mechanism for that group to have stopped the transfer of power.

My understanding was that if they'd gotten their mitts on Pence, who had to certify, it would have been successful.
Also, Pence would certainly be stone dead.

I figured it would turn out to be so on that day, but it was scary and as close as I need it to be in my lifetime.

I was one of few who watched it unfold live. It was definitely a shoot show, but at no point did anyone say "Holy fuck. These people are about to overthrow the government." That all came after the dust had settled and media outlets began pedaling the false claim that they could have stopped the transfer of they'd gotten to Mike Pence. We're now a year into the media, and people who can't be bothered to even Google the claims they're making still insisting America was almost lost that day. Hell, even the president got in on it last week.

none of them had a plan to stop the transfer of power, that's a narrative after the fact. They didn't even bring snacks to last through the night.

im not familiar with the courthouse stuff. my main point was more of, whether or not that was or wasnt an insurrection, i believe january 6th was an attempt to stop the democratic process
and ill go further. the insurrection is ongoing to this day
