Did it stop the transfer of power? No, but it attempted to, and it did succeed in delaying the legal process for a few hours by use of mob violence. I'm mostly pointing out that polls are going to disproportionately going to represent people who have no lives, so you're more likely to get the people who think the election was stolen.

If a moderate, middle class, wife and 2 kids Republican voter gets a phone call that says, "Hello, sir I'm calling on behalf of *insert polling company*. Do you have a time to answer some questions for us?" The answer is going to be know.
