The federal government says the vaccine mandate for truckers crossing into Canada from the United States will come into effect this Saturday as planned, despite a previous statement from the Canada Border Services Agency that said Canadian truck drivers would be exempt.

In a release today, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos along with the transport and public safety ministers say the CBSA statement from Wednesday evening was "provided in error," and that Canadian truckers must be vaccinated if they want to avoid quarantine and a pre-arrival molecular test, starting this weekend.

The cabinet ministers say unvaccinated American big-riggers will be turned back at the border, with the U.S. preparing to impose similar restrictions on Canadian truckers on Jan. 22.

Government representatives offered no explanation for the incorrect information emailed to media more than 20 hours earlier.

just began joes newest podcast with general mccmaster and he is already shilling for the insustrial war complex

joe claims to be against corporations owning politicians. and he claims to be against the wars

he is aware that people like obama say one thing and then come into office and dont follow throw.

the most likely reason is because they were lying during the election process. but lately he has been spewing the ridiculous idea that presidents dont know about shit until they get into office. and the past decisions (such as wars) make sense after they get all the top intel from the security council

I don't listen to Rogan's podcast often, but I did play this episode on my way to work this morning. I'm about 40 minutes in and I don't think it's too bad so far.

McMaster has plenty of insight. It's not like Joe can just start berating a guest as soon as they kick it off. He'd never get anyone to come on. It's a balancing act.

They touched on Vietnam and to a smaller extent the Gulf War, but I do hope Joe pushes him a little on the US War Machine. McMasters is on record mentioning military strategy groups being funded by defense contractors. Hopefully they touch on that a bit.

They just started talking about China's power over us via goods and services (phones, chips, etc) and how we (the US) created that problem with companies looking to reduce labor costs to maximize profits. I hope companies have learned that vertical integration is essential and should be a focus moving forward.

I'll definitely finish the episode.
