I actually like Buttigieg. For a corporatist ambitionbot centrist Dem, I like him. I respect the exceptional intellect, and he has gravitas to me. There's never going to be the specific candidate I would choose to be the President actually becomes the President, but the US has a lot worse options than Buttigieg. He's super fucking smart, takes the job seriously and isn't a doddering geriatric, which is a combination that neither of the last two guys can claim more than one of.
Tucker, I really think the GOP nomination is there for him if he wants it. But he doesn't. No chance he throws his hat in the ring - he's got far too cushy a gig compared to actually entering politics, and he knows it.
