Not pointing the finger at you specifically lars, just finding it ironic that him taking it extra seriously(allegedly) makes him a "paranoid fuck". When many here and in our society have said the fear campaign and govt actions have been a massive paranoid over-reaction and have been ridiculed for almost two years on this forum for saying as much.

He's not making a moral equivalency or doing what aboutism. He is talking about 100% the exact same situation and explaining that it is standard procedure, unfortunately, for soldiers to fire at people who clandestinely film them because it is considered a threat.
