Why do I feel like your non-binary friend only dates men?my friend is non-binary. and i always call her "her". i literally just did it in that sentence lol
but i refuse to use a plural for them (although i did in the prior sentence as well as the post above). so the term she told me to use for her is "human."
i dont get it at all. but human is a great person. so its all good. and human knows i love human so human doesnt get mad at me when i accidentally refer to human as "she" or "her"![]()
It's been used in everyday situations since long before the whole gender identity fad.im fine using other terms. but i draw my line at terms that are gramatically incorrect! (due to plural) lol
It's been used in everyday situations since long before the whole gender identity fad.
While you're on the phone, someone knocks on your door. You know it's one person but don't know the person's gender. You say to the person on the phone, "Hold on let me see who it is and what they want."
I think this unknown gender/unfamiliar person use of the word "they" for a single individual is where the Gen Z gender labels originate.
Also NJ is shit. Fuck u
Sources: The Russian authorities were not ready for the sanctions imposed against the country. Possibly because Putin hid the invasion plan from many of his subordinates.
March 2, 2022
We talked with sources in the government and interlocutors close to the financial and economic bloc of the Cabinet of Ministers. From their words follows:
Many high-ranking officials - members of the cabinet of ministers and heads of large state-owned companies - were not ready for Vladimir Putin's decision to start a war in Ukraine. According to one of the senior officials, it follows that he "did not know" that this would be a full-scale invasion. Some of them were shocked by the news about the introduction of troops. "That's fucked up," a senior White House source responded succinctly . According to a source close to the government, the cabinet was preparing for sanctions in response to the recognition of the independence of the LPR and DPR, but was not aware of the decision on a major war.
It turned out that the government was not preparing for the level of sanctions pressure that the whole world began to exert on Russia in response to aggression. All the last time Russian officials seemed to be the most terrible measure to disconnect from SWIFT, says a source in the leadership of one of the state-owned companies. They were preparing for such a scenario - since the beginning of the year, several meetings were held in the government on the topic of possible sanctions, and in large companies they conducted so-called stress tests in case Russia was disconnected from SWIFT, a ban on the supply of Western software, servers and chips. However , no one calculated the effect of the most terrible sanctions, for example, on Russian reserves, as well as the withdrawal of almost all Western companies from the Russian market.follows from the words of our interlocutors.
In the past, the Russian leadership has shied away from overly aggressive policies under the influence of economists' scenarios. For example, in March 2014, the government calculated the risks of joining the Donetsk, Lugansk and Kharkiv regions to Russia , and then this step was not taken, among other things, because the Russian economy, according to calculations, was not ready for this, recalls a former government official.
“Everything is in a frenzy,” says a source close to the presidential administration, answering a question about the prevailing mood among Kremlin employees. But officials cannot resign, because it would be a betrayal: “You can only resign to the zone,” ironically an interlocutor close to the government
We're all going to find out together."Can you put a price on peace?"
I'd like to buy the world a CokeWe're all going to find out together.
Looks like sanctions are a trillion dollar hit and growing."Can you put a price on peace?"
I'm basically stuck off to one side of the crowd around the table, watching the die fall and hoping for the game to end early and cleanly.Looks like sanctions are a trillion dollar hit and growing.
Russia GDP is 1.5 trillion. It'll take years for them to be in full effect.
So maybe Russia loses 1/3 of it's economy for three years. Let's say it cost them that for five.
They aren't giving up Ukraine for that.
I think we would have to wait for the unpredictability to then disrupt outside investment for a harder hit.
I think the hits on the oligarchs and Putin are the piece that will have the fastest action currently. You're a billionaire Russian, but now you can't use your wealth outside of Russia. That might be okay for some but for most of these guys they are jet setting and enjoying the West that they vocalize against. I'm not sure much of Russia has the culture of enjoying a penthouse in London or New York well you can get some of the world's best restaurants etc. If you can't go to Monaco with your yacht, that's now seized? What's the money worth? If you lose the lifestyle it brings you.
Interesting article- from 2017 though.Eh Bud, this might be relevant.

Can The U.S. Intercept A North Korean Missile? [Infographic]
North Korea's nuclear program has evolved rapidly in recent months. With diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis failing to gain traction, the effectiveness of missile-defense technology in the region is becoming paramount.www.forbes.com
ThIs WiLl tRiGgEr U!”This will trigger you, but the Ukrainians were playing with nuclear fire here too. They have obligations as well.
Don't set up your own defensive weaponry near nuclear power plants to force the battle on those terms.
Foreign countries need to step in.
Part of the negotiations should be the banning of both sides from setting up weapons near nuclear plants.
To be fair, polish carpenters have awful standardsThey will start turning on the Ukies soon enough, just as they turned on Polish carpenters. Being white helps a lot, but a foreign-speaking immigrant is still ultimately an immigrant to them.
