This is what I've been waiting for. You've got a heavily wooded area and an invading force. Conventional armies just don't have a great answer for this type of response. And even more so since the local populace will have lone wolves doing it all over the place. The IEDs will just pick pace as Russia starts to try to hold land it has taken.
Lol @Nuk Soo Kow as per the G&M:
Logic says it has to, but it's been encircled for weeks and hasn't really come close to falling.
Plus the soldiers defending it (yes, Azov included) are better fighters than the Russian soldiers attacking it.
I wouldn't be surprised for it to turn into a stalemate that Russia eventually abandons.

Look at the various battles for Fallujah, mete. Smaller city, far more lopsided combatants. Battle 1 -1 month - Battle 2 - 2 months, Battle 3 - 5 months.Hasn't been taken yet. Meanwhile at least two towns (not in Donetsk) have been retaken by Ukrainian forces.
"Controlling large parts of the city" is not "taking the city", ya fuckin goof.Look at the various battles for Fallujah, mete. Smaller city, far more lopsided combatants. Battle 1 -1 month - Battle 2 - 2 months, Battle 3 - 5 months.
Defenders can hold out in messy urban warfare a long time, even against overwhelming odds. But there was never any doubt that Ruskies would eventually take it - you stand basically alone in your retardation on this one.
