its sad that so many people consider being woke a bad thing

woke = alert to injustice in society, especially racism

Asking questions became a bad thing

You live in a clown world

Media is stoking the racism fire every chance they get, that is the truly disgusting thing to me

Fairly certain Elon is controlled opposition

There is likely an entire vault of blackmail material on him just like all the other elite motherfuckers you know about

Racism is lame, I agree

As for the media making people more accepting of race and less racist...I have to disagree. I think your experience is the minority experience.

People are hating nationalities and races and even classes of people they have never had negative interaction with based solely upon media's content.

But I grew up with a flaming gay black kid as a friend(Clark) and in the tranny capitol of the USA(they have been having electing a tranny "queen" for like 40 years) so my experience is different than most.

IMO Media is stoking those fires every chance they get and dividing folks via race, nationality, class, dick size, and political leaning...Ugly business

This is one of the reasons why “wokeness”has a negative connotation instead of being synonymous with enlightened.
People evolve their opinions but somewhere along the way lose the empathy for people who have different opinions or might not be as far along on the change curve. So many “woke” people spew vitriol towards anyone who doesn’t share their exact view at this very moment.

Twitter can easily fend off this attempt as Elon purchasing. It is not in the best interest of all the shareholders. Can easily place a poison pill to maintain the vision of the company however they want. And no matter what somebody's going to sue the Twitter leadership.

I doubt he's got any interest in buying twitter.
Musk is well-known for his dodgy manipulation in share markets.

He buys 10%, starts take over rumours at an artificially high price, public wants in on those high prices so buy in driving the price up near what he's "offering", then he sells out his shares for a massive profit, share price plumnets leaving all these schmucks that hang off his dribble with big losses.

Right-wing social media site Gab said Elon Musk should drop his bid to buy Twitter and invest $2 billion in them instead if he really cares about free speech
  • Gab CEO Andrew Torba said if Musk wants to protect free speech, Twitter isn't the right place.
  • Torba offered Musk a board seat and an unspecified amount of equity in exchange for a $2 billion investment.
