I was surprised that Colorado is where he went but not going to bet against him being successful there

Wild @Wild i see you just lost your HC
Yeah. Rumor around here is, he went to the AD and requested a $500k/yr raise & contract extension, and our AD declined. So basically, this was a "soft firing". I liked Satterfield. Thought he would eventually get us to an ACC championship. Our 2023 class rated #18 right now with the #1 RB in the class. I hope we can keep that class together, but I suspect there will be some defections. My guess is we will hire Jeff Brohm from Purdue. Former UofL QB + his family still lives here & are Louisville royalty.

Yes. He had only been a Purdue for 2 yrs the first time and didn’t want to bail on his class. I think the timing is right this time and that’s who we’ll hire. And yes, it’s going to take at least $7m a year to get him. He wouldn’t have been my first choice. I was really hoping our AD would have seen this coming and had reached out to Deion Sanders two months ago.

Damn, tOSU has a WR sitting out of the playoffs to get ready for the draft?
If you are talking about Smith-Njigba, he hasn't played much all year. Hamstring. Got hurt in the Notre Dame game.

He is the dude who had 15 catches for 347 yards and 3 TDs in last year's Rose Bowl against Utah. He posted that after Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson opted out of the game for the same reason - prepare for the draft.

Smith-Njigba is likely a mid 1st round pick. Nobody was expecting him to play.

I hate Boise States blue field.
Easily the ugliest field in football.

I was going to say in all of college sports, but Oregon's basketball court wins that going away.

So hard to watch a Boise home game on TV. Their uniforms blend with the field so closely, it’s hard to even find the players lol.

Yeah. The last game I watched at that field I turned the TV to black and white. It helped, but the players still mixed in with the field color.

Stupid field is stupid.

Oregon's basketball court is the GOAT. Don't be jealous that tOSU can't afford lumber, let alone paint to decorate it.

Louisville has hired Jeff Brohm.

Jeff played high school football at Louisville Trinity and led them to a state championship.

Played QB at UofL.

His brother Brian also played at Trinity and led to state titles, played QB at Louisville and was drafted by the Packers. He is the OC at Purdue and will be joining our staff

Their dad Oscar coached Trinity here for decades. Their family is Louisville sports royalty.

Big day for UofL football.
