Finally gonna get around to something tomorrow. I’m getting my car ready for a engine swap and it’s in rough shape so I’ll be cleaning it up and gutting it, and will use the time outside during a nice day to get a good smoke in.

Good luck with the engine swap. Being serious, I’ve done a couple & one I wanted to set my mustang on fire 😂

I’ll be having a cigar tomorrow too. Will be thinking about you & your swap. I’ll be driving back from Gardnerville, NV in the late morning. 7000’ elevation change in the drive 😎

I’m not doing it myself fortunately. I’m having an engine built for it and the builder is doing the swap, the fluids, and the dyno tune for an additional $1,500.
He’s THE guy for my car and is located about 30 minutes from me. While he’s in there I’m also doing a clutch and motor mounts too, and gonna throw him another handful of cash to have him upgrade whatever else he can.

That sounds like a fun drive!

I recall the engine build from the modified cars thread. At one point the system quit updating me on that thread even when selecting following. I’d go a week or month & forgot to check in. One time I had missed something like 3-400 posts 😂

to say I skimmed the review would be an understatement 😂

I’ve looked for people to assist me with the Bronco from time to time. Basically impossible around Sacramento. Incompetence, unwillingness or just greed eliminated every shop I encountered. Oh the joys of city/suburban life where you can’t afford the space for a shop of your own 🤦🏻‍♂️ It’s on my requirements list for leaving CA, min lot size .75ac with min 2000sq’ shop. (I also want an indoor pool but am willing to compromise on that lol.)

I'm building a 2800sq ft shop right now. Move to my area and I'll get ya some good pricing

Can't smoke all day if you don't start first thing in the morning. I'm swapping breakfast out for a blind Russian and this Atabey RitosIMG_2202.jpeg

That one burned nicely
I'd definitely chalk that first one up to a bad roll. It happens, but with a good brand, it shouldn't happen often. I've dropped brands I loved, due to shit QC issues. Ive smoked thousands of RoMa crafts and have had issues with exactly 3 cigars. I smoked dozens of Viaje releases from a few years ago and issue after issue. Crazy how it happens, but it's a hand made product 🤷🏻‍♂️

This right here. Some of the brands I talk smack on are mostly qc issues that impact burn & flavor. I’ve had a surrogates box that only had 3 good sticks in it. Others love that brand.

I tend to stick with certain brands for box purchases now just for that reason

2nd one I've smoked of these. The first one, I wasn't a fan of, this one, I'm enjoying the shit out of. I still don't think it's worth the price point, but if I ever find a good deal, I'll load up on em IMG_2206.jpeg

Moving on to another new to me smoke. Casdagli Villa Casdagli.

This one started off really mild then tunneled like a bastard. Just starting the last 3rd & finally past it. It’s now a decent cigar. Had I started with it I would have put it down tbh.

And yes, I posted the smoking jacket after I was nearly finished even though the pic was right after lighting
