Just rained here hard for like 10 minutes. Rained hard overnight, and lost power for about 1/2 hour this morning.
Don't know if that storm system is heading your way. Earlier my weather app said to expect it to rain around 1:30, so it was a little off.
MrsPatK just texted me from the store she's at that it's raining cats and dogs and waiting for it to stop before coming home. She's only a town over, about 10-15 minutes away.
Would have reserved some long needed time at the range today but the Bears are on. Would like to tomorrow, but I haven't seen my mom in assisted living for a couple of weeks and need to go out there. My fucktard aunt was there two weeks ago and riled her up.
And we started looking for a new place. She isn't getting the care we'd expect for what we're paying and they just raised the cost $700/month.
Dealing with her shit (early Alzheimers/Dementia and getting worse), I've already told my one stepson to give me the Old Yeller treatment when I start losing my shit. Although I thing there would be legal issues with that.
Never heard of them until a potential customer sent us over to them at the past SHOT Show. We might start doing some work for them

The mice living in my shed broke the truce. I told those lil assholes that as long as they don't destroy anything that they can continue to live there. Well, they fucked around and are about to find out. Went to cut the grass today and the rider wouldn't start. Opened it up to hook up the battery jumper and they had the damn Peabody Projects in there. Chewed through one wire completely and fucked up a few more. I shoot snake shot .22 and have smoked a bunch of rats/mice in my chicken coop. I just stake out at night with low light conditions and the come in every night at dusk to raid the food the chickens scatter, and I bang em out dead. Actually pretty fun except for clean up, if I hit em in the face they bleed hard.

In the vid, the Fat Electrician brings up the much disputed “shot through the scope” story. I remember watching the myth busters episode referenced that disputed the probability of the shot…..he eviscerates the methodology used and the execution. Using a couple of other YouTubers, they reattempt the shot using period correct materiel, and are able to replicate the shot…..lol.

I put $5 in a penny slot and won $205.
Now today it's raining and I feel like shit and hopefully aren't coming down with something, as apparently COVID is making the rounds again. I have a big customer coming to visit tomorrow and a potentially new big customer on Tuesday. Going to run to Walgreens to pick up a test and some cold meds in a bit

Last semi auto .22 I had was real finicky about ammo, but it was a 30 year old High Standard so I didn't try any of the modern .22 semi autos

I guess the mouse was a rat instead. We'll, there's probably mice in the shed too but I found the rat. Eliminated her and the babies with a shovel to the neck. Also set up 8 glue traps and 6 snap traps. May have to get some bigger ones too though since I'm not just dealing with mice.
Also set up my new ground blind to get a feel for set up and breakdown. Fairly happy with it. The door sucks so I might try and figure something else out with it. Hate zippers on these. My son is in there in this pic sitting on my chair. Does a fairly good job at hiding him but I can definitely still see his skin so I'm going to have to camo up. No big deal. It'll make me feel like I'm really hunting instead of just going out to my backyard. Lol
