Nice. Lot prettier than mine. However, mine has a story behind it. I introduced my wife to the TV series “Bosch”. When he pulled his out she asked “What kind of gun is that?” I told her and she said “You need one of those.” I said yeah, that’d be nice, but his is a .45. I want the 10mm.” A couple of months later there was a gun show and she asked “So are you going to see if you find that Kimber?” She’s a keeper.

Hope not. Mine was good right out of the box.Total keeper.
I'm single, so all of my purchases just need to pass my own justification test. When it comes to certain things, it just boils down to whether the money is available.
The looks of this Kimber sold me a long time ago, but I never picked one up, knowing that if I did I'd buy it. Well that day has come and gone. The action of the slide was amazing, zero rattling when you try to wiggle the rear of the slide. Slide flowed like complete butter. Trigger is amazing. I'm really happy with this. Hopefully it won't take 1,000 rounds to run right.
Just picked it up, so haven't had a chance to fire it? Please be sure to give us a little range report after you take it out for a spin.Total keeper.

I would hope my magwell is bulletproof, it's awful close to my fingers. And face.View attachment 123211

Installed without issue using internals of previous main spring housing. It adds some weight, but worth it, imo. Nice checkering too.

The stock main spring housing is plastic.I would hope my magwell is bulletproof, it's awful close to my fingers. And face.
You meant to say "futuristic polymers"The stock main spring housing is plastic.
Nice. Wasn’t familiar with this gun, had to go look it up. I’m impressed. Sounds like it was designed with competition in mind. Are you looking into shooting in matches or was this just your choice for general use/home defense?View attachment 123349
I picked up my first shotgun, plus some other goodies last night. Mossberg JM Pro 940, it's a 9+1.
It was designed for 3 gun, so I like that it's set up to run everything efficiently, plus Mossberg claims 1,500 rounds between deep cleaning. I'd never do that to one of my firearms, but it's allegedly pretty maintenance free for a gas gun.Nice. Wasn’t familiar with this gun, had to go look it up. I’m impressed. Yeah, I was thinking with a 24” barrel it wasn’t exactly “tactical” enough to use indoors, but it sounds like a well-rounded shotgun for the uses you intend it for.It was designed for 3 gun, so I like that it's set up to run everything efficiently, plus Mossberg claims 1,500 rounds between deep cleaning. I saw it on sale a few months ago and watched a few youtube videos on it and was impressed. I didn't jump on it since I've never had a shotgun and it's never been a type of firearm that was a "must have" for me. I was at Turner's picking up some other shit and noticed it was on sale again. I spoke to the clerk and he told me I had to speak to his manager, since he has one and loves it. Well, the manager didn't need to sell me any more, but he did just that. He even uses it for bird hunting by modifying with a plunger and cap (my state is 2+1 for bird hunting apparently).
It's too long for home defense, but should be a blast wrecking targets with, and potentially some hog hunting (there is a great video with guys in a side by side using one on hogs, looks like fun).
Good priceI went to the ammo store today to pick up some shit and I got a killer deal on 300 win mag (part of my cool shit the other day was a Howa m1500). They are game rounds (TGK) and they were $.95 per round, which is a night and day difference in price from my gun shop where the least expensive rounds were $3 per round. Side note: fuck are these things big in person. Look at 308 compared to 300 win mag (maybe not news to some of you, but I've never had 300 win mag in front of me before)

I am brand new to this round, but in my neck of the woods that's a really good price for just about anything.Good price
