You really want them risking injury if they're going to have more games? I'd be putting in the backups. Nice and safe.
Backups got some reps against Tennessee. One more TD and they'll probably be put in.

That doesn't change my expectations.
Win the 2nd half by 26.

He's been shelling out for infrastructure mainly. These last few years he's started doing what he's allowed to do by paying players. Cool I don't blame him but I'm going to laugh when this sort of thing happens especially the of a guy with no moral high ground.
That infrastructure and sweet gear was being used for recruiting anyways.

I'd have them purposely fumble a few times to get some real world ball recovery practice. Maybe some interceptions too.

Exactly. But it at least did something for the university as well. A&M is in the same boat. Crazy facilities and now the powers that be are realizing thats not the way moving forward. It is what it is.

Facilities still matter.
It's just not the only thing that matters.

They matter but if a 5 star is getting 5 mil from a school with 20 year old facilities and 3 mil from a school with brand new facilities you and I both know where 9 out of 10 are heading. Money isn't the only thing that matters but bet your ass it matters most.

I get it

To be honest the entire program and going to a game live is pretty annoying to me because I live nearby.
People are gonna be hissyfit bitchasses all week around here.

Half the players were coming here for uniforms and Nike bought spotlight, now I guess they come for that and some $$$.

All big programs are buying it before and after this deal, just is what it is

This is Oregon's playbook to a T. I'm not knocking it but it's the truth. No southern boy was going up there for the love of Eugene. They just weren't but they looked fly.

All that said I'm shocked this game is going like it is.

The no targeting call? I think its because Texas is a football blue blood, so even with the whole country watching and knowing it was clear cut, they weren't gonna give it to the scrappy underdogs at the stage if the game

Trust me they get those calls all the time. Look at the first Georgia game. That's against a team that just went back to back and they cowered to a bunch of fake ass cowboys. Es normal.

You guys played a helluva game. I like that coaching staff a lot. The DC needs to be stoned for that call though.

By default does this make Michigan the best team in the country?

The only thing better would be watching a complete collapse from tOSU and watching Days disgustingly obvious dyed hair/beard go grey in real time.

When they showed Plummer stressing on the sideline it took me back to 1996 against Ohio State. Just watched a highlight package of the game. So awesome.

So just for shits and giggles... tOSU wouldn't have made a 4 team playoff, correct? This is why we play the games.
Correct.
Zero chance they get selected in a field of 4.

And Day would probably already be fired.
