Bug (2006)
This is an underrated gem. Disturbing and raw. Takes place almost entirely inside a motel room. Michael Shannon is amazeballs.
8.5/10

The Woodsman
Another disturbing film. Kevin Bacon plays a pedophile just released from prison, looking to start a new life. Bah gawd! It's uncomfortable to watch at times, but worth the watch.

I finally watched Star Wars : The Force Awakens.
6.5/10

It reminded me a lot of the 1st one (Episode 4). Only the Death Star was bigger and more dangerous. And it was Han and his kid on the catwalk instead of Luke and Vader (maybe that was Empire). And the rebel planes flying through a narrow path to find the sweet spot on the bigger, badder Death Star. It was a good movie, but not really worthy of all the uproar. The black storm trooper - why was everyone hating on him? He kicked ass. I didn't like the new Vader (Han's kid). Cool mask, but a little too hard to understand - and when he took off his mask he looked like a dork. And what was up with some garbage-gathering chick being able to do battle with a dark side master? That felt pretty implausible. She did a good job though - she's cute. I like the new R2D2 thing that rolls around.

william friedkin's BUG is an amazing flick . Somthing i'd expect to stumble across on " best movies you ve never heard of " list, maybe not that indie...anyway, WOODSMAN is great too, Impeccable taste as usual, Priziest.

A Perfect Day - 7.3/10 I like Del' Toro.

Any one ever seen/heard of BOX OF MOONLIGHT with Rockwell and Turtoro ? Highly recommend.

A Lonely Place to Die - 6.5/10

Overall, meh. There were some great shots of rural Scotland in the film, the acting was okay-ish, the story was interesting enough. It was a bit odd how they had unlimited bullets though.

Rango - 7/10

The animation was amazing but the story lacked imo. I laughed a few times but overall it was just o.k. If I was a kid this movie would've been the goddamn best 1000000/10 or fuck your mother.

Green Room - 6.3/10 -- found it slowly paced and was bored

I am Wrath - 4/10 -- Travolta was fucking terrible in this film as was virtually every other player

A Brilliant Young Mind - 7.7/10 -- coming of age story involving an autistic math prodigy.

10 Cloverfield Lane - 7/10 -- Really enjoyed this movie. Loved the Genre switch at the end. Goodman was fantastic.

The purge:election year

6/10

Felt it was a step back from the momentum and world that purge anarchy built. Election year had less gun play and was slower paced.

I watched this South Korean horror flick last night. It's a little long but the payoff is awesome. This shit is disturbing in all the right ways.

Independence Day: Resurgence
5/10
Would Not Recommend... Can see why Will Smith let it pass by. The plot was not good at all and the actors where eh.. As much as I like Goldblum wish he hadn't dont this one either.
