no one wants to admit they've seen Frozen, let alone admit it's a big deal to them.

I haven't seen it.

My 4 year old niece has seen it more times than I have seen Bloodsport. Spoiler alert: It's basically on at my sister's house 24/7.

indeed, I know quite a few parents that hate it because of the songs their kids wanna hear over and over.

I can watch Madagascar 1 all night long, but not interested in what looks like the pinnacle of musical animations :D

If they do that it will be the end of that franchise.

Not trying to be a dick, but if you had a 4 year old would you take her to a 'Disney' movie that promoted homosexuality?

I would have no problem taking my kids to a Disney movie with a gay character. They've met plenty of gay people IRL.

Either/or. I don't think sexuality should have any place in a movie targeted at 4 year olds. Male, female, black, white, whatever. PG13 if it does.

Elsa is hot (as long as she's over the age of 25 - if you are under the age of 25, you are dismissed in my world).......

I don't think they plan to show Elsa scissoring.

Disney princess movies are all about falling in love, getting married, etc.

I didn't click, but are they putting sex scenes in these movies? If so, I have a problem with it, if not, do you think a 4 year old will pick up on it?

I wouldn't avoid taking my tots to a movie because of homosexual characters. Besides..its a g rated flick isnt it?...not gay porn.

Gay is not a deal breaker for me at all

Kids will absolutely notice if there is a lesbian character and ask questions that parents will have to repond to. When my girls notice someone gay hugging or more on tv they always ask me what is going on. I just tell them that everyone likes who they like. There really is nothing more I can tell them at that young of age.
On another point, I think that the disney princesses are bad role models for young girls: in most movies the female character is completely helpless and must be save by a man who only helps because they are pretty, then marry him after knowing them for 5 minutes.

I hear what you're saying...and of course 4 yr olds should not be exposed to mature content. But showing love towards others is never a bad thing.
